When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Some of you including Kweku Baako don't get it.
Why will they confiscate the passport of the Waterville boss when this case was about his company but not him as an individual, did the court rule against the individual or the company, are we going to confiscate passports of all the people who work for that company?
You guys must learn from Gabby Okyere Darko that the ruling will discourage investors from investing in the country.
If you study this issue very well you will realize it is rather those who had the contract with them whether verbally or signed were the people who defrauded these companies and should pay for it because knowing that parliament has to approve such contracts but asked the individuals or companies who may not know that the contract they were engaging in has to be approved by parliament to move to site to start work is fraud.
If we treat companies that way who will invest in the country knowing parliament has to approve such contracts but asked companies to start work and when the people demand they be paid we turn around to say we did not sign contract with them using technicalities?.
Is it the companies that supposed to take the contracts to parliament for approval or the government and if it is the government then why we have to blame these people or organizations when we fail to do the right thing?
Shame on us for doing something like that which may haunt us for years.
Shame on us.

Any lawyer can engage in corruption and claim to have acted "profesionally"by merely providing "legal advice". The law can aways be read in two different ways. If one is corrupted, one can discover different meanings that lead one to favour a view of the law which helps the corrupter(s). And one can always try to absolve oneself of blame by saying one acted with "professional discretion". That is why there are Supreme Courts to tell everyone what was professionally done and what was done from corrupt motives.
The SC wants the lawyers involved sanctioned and I am sure that includes Ato Dadzie's client.

Betty Mould was simply shambolic! She wasn't fit and qualified to be AG, not having the track record to handle such a job. The AG's post must be separated from the Minister of Justice post and made into a technical and non-political post to be filled on merit and incumbency not dependent on party in power.
Anyway, this case vindicates my take on this saga, captured in the article. "I am confused". Everybody was focusing on Woyome, instead of the mafioso Waterville he was working for and who clearly gave him the mission.

The level of corruption, rot and outright fraud that continues to be perpetrated on the finances of Ghana by the NDC administration led by John Mahama, which has led to the contested President claiming that, "the meat is now, left to the bones", is really unprecedented.
The President being the head of the economic management team then as the Vice President under President Atta Mills, was in the know that indeed, there was no contract between Ghana and the petty thief Woyome.
The current Vice President Amissah-Arthur, who then headed the Bank of Ghana, as the Governor, was also in the know that, there's was no current. However, when the arrangement was put in place to commit one of the biggest heist ever perpetrated on the national kity by the NDC government, the contested President, his Vice and all the various actors signed off on the dotted line. These are the kind of conscienceless, unpatriotic, incompetent, inept and criminal fraudsters, who have managed to steal their way, once again into power, to again, perpetrate these same atrocious conduct on the country's finances with reckless abandon. The level of impunity bordering on sheer criminality with which the NDC thieves have managed the finances of the country in their short stay in government is indeed, mind boggling, pathetic and clearly, very outrageous.
The call by Kwaku Baako to secure the assets of Waterville and also to keep tabs on Orlandi is in the right direction. The various actors who have also played all sorts of roles to facilitate this grevious, outrageous and flagrant abuse of the process, also need to be brought to book. It's just not enough to ask the thieves to refund the booty, but, there should be damn consequences for such actions. John Mahama and his bunch of criminally minded clique need to answer for this atrocious conduct.

The one great thing about short memory is the very thing that eventually becomes a curse. Barely a year ago, courts within Ghana heard the Woyome case. For those who love to talk about meaningless trivia, nothing was or is important about the Woyome case except for his Judgment debts. But some of you with brains may remember that at the Woyome judgment debt hearing it was established by a court and a judge that it was a government officer, under Kufour’s NPP administration who gave the go ahead for Waterville and others to move their construction equipment unto the Accra sport stadium ground to begin work without a written contract.
If the non thinking Ghana Supreme Court justices think a contract only exist on paper then I am sorry to say these people could not be Ghana's equivalent of the wise men. Anytime a government official (s) acting in his or her official government capacity agrees for the commencement of work, with or without a signed contract, it is a contract. Someone needs to tell all you yahoo's that if Waterville were to appeal this to the international court Ghana will lose miserably.

It's very surprising how Ghanaians both learned and semi-literates are all commending Martin Amidu and singing his praises including certain lawyers; Amaliba and Nana Dadzie. They have all conveniently refused to accept that, Waterville did not wrong. A government minister - Amoah wrote to Waterville and requested them to 'move to site'. Waterville complied and later they were stopped and the contract re-awarded to a Chinese firm. Now my question as based on the SC ruling is: was the contract signed with the Chinese to renovate the stadia valid as per article 181(5) of the 1992 Constitution, since that contract was not laid before parliament and approved? Why the selective justice? I wonder at the quality of some of of our judges. I stand to be corrected but I doubt if we will ever compel Waterville to refund the payments.
