Mr Grant, the argument about room mates can be from both angles. One of long lasting friendly and cordial relationship and the other which is short lived and acrimonious. In the case of the latter, it is reasonable to suspect motive for ill feeling and revenge. However, in this particular case, I am unsure which of the two (advantage and disadvantage) is relevant.In fact, both are not applicable.

I therefore see the argument as the typical NDC/NPP politics because had Afari Gyan and President Mahama been room mates at Legon, NPP would make similar argument. I think it's irrelevant and believe that Afari Gyan was capable of going beyond past connection with any of the two candidates and be impartial.

Don`t you know for a fact that Tsikata and Akufo Addo had acted as a legal team on behalf of Amoako Tuffuor in a now much talked about court case he(Tuffour) launched in the SC? Why did Baako gloss over that and cite the example of Boakye Gyan and Rawlings - a case that evidently depicts a situation of a once cordial relationship between two former high school chums which later turned sour?

This would allow the judge the latitude to apply to the sentence.If the answer is NO, the judge might apply a lesser sentence.Kweku Baako, let me tell you that under normal circumstance, people who have lived together in one house would not harm each other because of the bond created between them.You see the Judges are very eminent people and they understand this principle.The question that Mr. Tsikata asked Dr. Afafi Gyan was very relevant to the court.Kweku Baako, I advise you always to think laterally before you talk, I believe you are 60 years now and should not act like a teenager.Do not ridicule yourself this way and I tell you, I used to admire you in view of your historical memory of events,but in view of your deliberately skewed twist of events in favour of the NPP, I have stopped buying the New Crusading Guide Newspaper.

Is it true that they were room mates ? If it is true, what's the fallacy here ? Is it incorrect information from third respondent ? No it is NOT. My problem with Kweku Baako is he talks without reasoning. In the court of law, there is what we call reasons before the fact and reasons after the fact. What is happening now are all reasons after the fact and its noise. Reasons before the fact are presumptions. Let me give you a classical example.

Dr Bawumia says he is an economist and a banker. Is he aware that all banks now use across the world biometric registration and verification ? At least in Ghana we do. He talks about serial numbers on checks and believes that he has a good case when it comes to serial numbers on checks. Ha, is he aware that a savings account with drawer goes through verification of thump print on a computer ? The question here is that will a bank deny you, who so desperately want access to your money because you need to pay your hospital bills because their systems are down and they cannot verify you on their little screens, or they will go through manual verification to prove you are you to give you access to your funds. In fact, if Kweku Baako or any of the Supreme Court judges desperate for funds at a local bank are told systems are down so they cannot be verified, am sure, that bank will be sued for God knows how much and am sure Kweku Baako will write all the hell in the world to tarnish the banks reputation.

Anybody who has followed the proceedings is fully aware that this was an 'aside' factual stament which was elicited to counter-act the errorneous impression that had been created by people like this same Kweku Baako and certain members within the NPP that the EC Chairman had conspired,aided and abetted in 'fixing' the 2012 presidential elections to the disadvatage of Akufo Addo. Not having gone past the walls of Winneba secondary school,which he was unable to complete,Kweku "Ananse" Baako,brazenly uses the word "illegality" to describe the EC`s declaration of John Mahama as the winner of the presidential ballot! How "Mr. Documents" reached this conclusion is beyond me,but this 'rabble-rouser' is allowed to further 'poison'the political atmosphere by aking such a contempteous and prejudicial statement about such a sensitive case before the SC.

Another reason is also being street smart well dressed and versatile in the latest jazz music and the good old scenes from Keteke, to Micks Disco, Caesar's etc. For surface we were buddies but deep down I knew they did not like me much. I presume one coming from an affluent background and one from a moderate rural background says a lot. This relationship based on sharing rooms in Legon should not have been on the table in court.
