our parliamentarians come together to take this huge amount of money.

Of all the challenges facing the country, what you forgot to mention as fundamental to the challenges is the election petition which is not only draining government time and resources, but also provides the atmosphere for labour unions to take advantage of the situation as we have seen with the strikes you highlighted in your article.

Can we be fair, balanced and objective when reporting issues relating to the government and its performance in the face of adversity?

It reminds me of the huge crises that the Obama administration has had to confront over the last 5 or 6 years. Ghana is no different, not because thew government or president is incompetent,but mitigating circumstances.
