I believe that the petitioners (NPPers) and the NDC will foot their own legal fees, but what about the President and the EC? “Are they paying themselves or to be paid from state coffers?” Could somebody out there help me with an answer?

I personally sometimes get confuse about some of the opinion people share on the election petition.
1. I wonder people have taken time to study or read the 1992 constitution.
2. Does the constitution allowed a Ghanaina to challenged election results?
3. Can a Ghanaian challege the results within 21 days after the declaration of the presidential election results?
4. When did President Mahama caretaker presidency came to an end?
5. What does sworing in of President Maham means? Doest mean a job of him came to an end so he needed to be sworn in?

I dont want to ask many questions but I believed if people can be educated on the question I have pose and even check it from the internet they will understand how president Mahama is feeling at the moment despite that he doesnt show any sign of worry but I tell you as human it might be a great worry to him.

Who wrote the 1992 constitution - Rawlings and who? hahaha so you could see that people like general mosqueto
has caused all this problem and the effect is what we are experiencing now. The bar association constituting lawyers who knew and can argue about the law refused to join the consultative assembly formed by Rawlings so .....

I want to say that NPP case is very strong so far as the constitution is concerned and they fortunately had enough time to prepare to meet the demands of the suprem court judges standards they set. If Dr Afari Djan had listened to the petitioners before announcing the results I dont thing NPP could have prepare enough to push the case to this level. Sometimes patince as stated by Kofi Annan helps a lot.

There is nothing the counsels for the first, second and the third defendants could do than to deny that all the allegations contained in the petitions effidavite never took place and it could not falls under the standards set by the our 9 justices. So is a very big issue. Getting angry as a counsel before the justices will rather worsen the defendants ability to prove that such allegations never took place. I plead with Mr Lithur to try and control his temper and be focus and do his job. God bless our homeland Ghana.

They do not respect rule of law which explains the lawlessness permeating the social fabrics of the country. This attitude leads to violence, corruption and fraudulent electoral processes. Ghana is on the abysmal direction.

Things are getting out of control. If a lawyer or member of the bar is not respecting the ethics of the court, then there appears to be break down of law at the very highest court of the land. Sanction them. No one is above the law, including the pampered child of the court, Tsatsu. The fact that some one like Tsatsu thought most of the lawyers does not give him any right to be discourtious to any of his former students. After all a Professor teaches a student who becomes Professor Emiretus while he remains a Professor. Take control Justice Atugubah in your court.

To me I have seen from Asiedu Nkatia that it is true that something seriously did happen to the pink sheets. You as a lawyer is doing your best to defend them but know that you are marketing yourself as well. Take it cool.

I know Tony personally & generally speaking the court proceedings & the behavior of legal counsel including Tony is so unacceptable.

Why were these "Legal Eagles" not held in contempt of court when they MISbehaved?
