I have heard many people making a lot of meal out of Asiedu Nketia's any idiot parlance. Well for Preston's whose reasoning power is limited, they will fall into this misconception of interpreting Asiedu Nketia's utterance as meaning all persons who go to court are idiots. But in its objective and logical context, what Asiedu Nketia's was saying was that our court system was so open and tolerant to the extent that even persons who are demented or are crass stupid can even put up a case over there. All he was saying is that is nothing extraordinary for anyone to bring up a process before any court but as he added, the responsibility lies with the Court to make a determination as to whether or not the case has any merit. Asiedu Mante by this submission did not call any particular person or a group as being idiots. This disingenuous way of twisting people's utterance and all must stop. For any objective observer of the election petition hearing, you realize that the stock in trade of the NPP is to attack the person of the NDC persons when it comes to their turn to make a case. We saw what happened to Tsikata and for me that is a big shame especially so that some of these person like Buabeng's Asamoah are lawyers and should be honest with the populace and stop this deliberate information afenda

Was it not NDCs who doctored a picture depicting Nana Addo fumbling with a lady`s breast? Even when the lady in question denied the claim, NDC communicators as well as callers and even, Tony Aidoo and Fifi Quartey were on the air claiming what they didn`t know.

This bunch of novices and fanatics know nothing but argument, insults, denigrading other people, twisting the facts and misreporting. There is not a single, credible and authoritative individual force that the public recognizes and respects. All we have are just hangers-on who are bitterly disappointed that they did not win the elections so they could treat themselves with government freebies. They should learn from the NDC. When Kakra Essamuah trotted out his nonsense about coups he was relegated to the background.

All the insults from Mr Buaben- Asamoah belies his own immaturity. He is unable to rise above this petty personality conflict to articulate a vision for his party. An idiot can pursue a grievance in court does not mean that when you turn up in court as witness you are equally an idiot. It is one thing filing a case and another defending yourself. Mr Buaben-Asamoah just wanted an opportunity to trade insults and to call the mosquito an idiot. It is uncalled for. Lawyer Buabeng has TOTALLY misunderstood the phrase "any idiot can go to court." Not that I agree with Mr. Asiedu Nketiah on the use of that uncouth phrase. The phrase referred to the FIRST PERSON/GROUP to petition the court to look into the fraud and irregularities.

Once the Court has been petitioned, the person/persons, who by necessity have to be in Court (like all the witnesses and others) CANNOT be said to be "idiots." By proper reasoning, Lawyer Buabeng CANNOT classify Mr. Asiedu Nketiah as the "chief idiot." Does it also mean that he (Buabeng) has accepted what came from Asiedu Nketiah that "any idiot can go to court?" Does that statement/phrase make the NPP idiots, for being the first to take the petition to court?

At times, I wonder whether such misinterpretations and mis-representations are the result of POOR JOURNALISM or a true reflection of what people have said. If one of poor journalism, then our media have to be extremely careful so that they don't plunge the country into chaos with such characteristically POOR REPORTING.

If you advocate for some sort of trouble in Ghana because you think you have been wronged, then be reminded of where you are today and take a hard look at where you'd be when all is said and done.
