Dear Mr. Markins, you are an MP and a Lawyer.I strongly believe that mid-way through the evidence of Dr. Bawumiah, the eminent Judges knew the outcome of the case. The first thing the judges would consider is whether errors on the Pink Sheets should be used to overturn the results declared by the EC. Hon. Markins, remember that the NPP have not contested the portion with the declaration of the votes for the individual candidates.If that portion had been contested, then the Judges would sit back and have a serious thought of the case. In fact with the evidence provided, the NPP have made the matter very easy for the Judges to decide.If the NPP had said:'My Lords, the figures declared for certain polling stations for each candidate as evidenced on Pink Sheets attached are inconsistent with EC's declared results and therefore renders the Presidential Elections a nullity.....', then it would make some sense. To depend of clerical input errors on the Pink Sheets to fight the case smacks of intellectual and logical incapacity!This could only come from frustrated,wicked and Nation wreckers whose only ambition is to destroy Ghana.I also took part in the voting exercise, witnessed the counting process at my polling stations, and what I saw confirm exactly the evidence of Mr. Asiedu Nketsia in the witness box last Friday.Mr. Markins I ask you this honest question: I strongly believe that as Lawyer and having applied knowledge and logic in many areas of your academic and working life does it make sense to rely on undisputed clerical errors detected on Pink Sheets, errors that do not affect the actual figures clearly stated on the Pink Sheets for each candidate, to demand the nullification of votes? If the answer is Yes, then Hon. Markins, you have a very big problem, and with this thinking, I am sorry you do not deserve to be an MP.

Petitioners pray SC to annul over 4 million votes cast by Ghanaian citizens to make their leader the winner because of the following reasons:-

OVERVOTING

Biometric voters register shows number of qualified voters for every polling area. All parties had copies of the voters list.

If a given polling station voters register showed, say 1000 qualified voters, and 800 votes counted after voting this will mean that 200 people did not go to vote. When filling out the pink sheet the polling agent wrote 800 votes cast, 0 reject, 0 destroyed, number of voting sheets given out column empty (blank), petitioners call this OVERVOTING, even though 200 people did not vote. They irrationally refuse to see it as clerical error. Dr Bawumia interprets the blank column as zero (0). This is illogical. Blank has no value. Zero (0) has value. Of course, Dr Bawumia is intelligent, but he was trying hard to persuade his followers that they have a case. At least they could pray for nulfication on clerical errors, but overvoting when 800 out of 1000 voted? Overvoting is where votes counted are more than the number the voters register shows. Are the judges persuaded? I do'nt know, but I am not.

They had agents representing the party in all the polling stations they have problem with, who signed the pink sheets without objections nor complaints. Dr Bawumia refuses to use CERTIFY and uses ATTTEST for the signing of the pink sheets by his agents. Does that make any difference.

ATTEST = provide or serve as clear evidence of. 2 declare that something exists or is the case.
CERTIFY = formally attest or confirm.

Our problem, as Ghanaians, is that we cannot stand the truth. As I try to analyse how I see the facts in the ongoing petition case, in my views, some individuals who do not agree with me and this is not what they want to hear, may curse me instead of sharing articulated version of their views.

Bawumia says that when the column is left blank, it indicates over voting because it affords the EC officials the chance to put down a bigger figure there in the compilation of results. Well this is possible, it is clever reasoning, it is even convincing, but it has not been proved. That was the problem with NPP. They came up with possible scenarios of cheating,but lacked single evidence of actual occurrence. Bawumia is postulating on what could have been, he forgets that that also could not have been. That is why he needed to have provided evidence that what he postulated did actually happen, using the final results released by the EC, against a declared result on a pink sheet with a blank. Evidence is the currency in Court, not personal opinions of what might have happened. Without the evidence everything remains unsubsantiated allegations.

Where did the additional 100 come from?
The ballots issued field is critical for us to determine whether the elections have been conducted fairly. one or two omissions can be said to clerical errors but when there is a pattern then the integrity of the whole election can be justifiably questioned.

Asiedu Nketia was one heck of a fuuny guy, making statements in court, like he was the one who wrote EC's Bible; he said he's been in politics for 34yrs and knows better than everyone.

Well, he could be right when dubious "ways & means" or plans for rigging elections is the subject. NDC have been rigging elections since 1992 and they still believe that should be the norm. They [NDC] don't see anything wrong with election fraud. It's so interesting to note!

NDC stands for everything that is bad! The "Sasabonsam Party" is dragging Ghana into the drain and it's time for Ghanaians to rise up and halt that downward and backward move! We shouldn't allow these hopeless and visionless bunch of crooks to hoodwink Ghanaians with propaganda and lies.

It's time to save Ghana from all the suffering and pain, it's time to free Gour country from all the economic hardship and misery, under the incompetent Mahama-led NDC govt. The "Aplanke" Prez. cannot do anything good for Ghana; he's just a waste pipe. We hope the Supreme Cuort Justices will make a ruling sooner than later! We can't keep on waiting for these crooks and liars to whither aaway all our economic gains. It would be suicidal! We shouldn't allow that to happen to us. No way!

Ghana really needs a saviour; a true leader full of vision and potent ideas to lead our country unto paths of great progress and prosperity, for all. May God bless our homeland, Ghana. Amen!
