Every hour delayed amounts to one month of land destruction. This small scale mining is a national security threat. Because very soon Ghana shall experience great food shortages and the population shall massively struggle to feed itself. When such a situation happens national security is undeniably threatened. SO MR. PRESIDENT DON'T BE AFRAID TO ISSUE IMMEDIATE ORDER TO STOP SUCH MINING EXERCISE BEFORE IT BECOMES TOO LATE. IT'S LATE BUT NOT TOO LATE.

So where is the interior ministry and BNI on this. if anyone can come to Ghana and engage in mining operations to the tune of what some of these foreigners are doing what prevents a terrorist cell or militant groups from infiltrating the nation to look for ways to destabilize, its a very precarious world we live in right now, our security cannot and should not be lapse. Ghana is so full of incompetents in government it makes me angry every time. The national security apparatus, if there even is one should have been in on this a long time, with detailed info as to who is doing what, where they are coming from, where they are operating all the galamseys, where they get the weapons from, what local chiefs and persons are involved in helping them etc. etc.

Also the diversion of streams and pollution of rivers thorugh the use of heavy industrail earth moving machines is also very sad. NOt only are the fish being killed, but the rivers that have been a source of survival and livlihood in these villages for farmers and families are being destroyed by these foreigners with the collaboration of local elders and chiefs as well as corrupt government officials. This has to stop. Not only are the Chinese guilty, but others like Indians and Pakistanis who are a bit sophiscated and organized are equally as guilty and must be targeted. Our gold is being sold and traded in Dubai by these greedy bastards. And Ghana is not getting a pessewa from taxes or royalties. As a result, we are losing our forests and streams at a rapid rate. This is no laughing matter nor time to blame any government as both the NPP and NDC, PNDC, AFRC and even Nkrumahs CPP are all to blame. They have allowed us to get to this point where these foreign bastards with guns have taken over, rule and destroy our forests and environment. WE MUST ACT. Mahama has made a gesture. What about Akuffo Addo and the Asantehene and the radio stations. Let us start discussing the menacing effects of galamsey on our livlihood, health and economy. This demands action!
