In Ghana now propaganda now is free if you are heading any institution and you don't know propaganda, you cannot be in the good books of this NDC government infact you may be tagged as NPP mole in their mist. There is such a levelof insecurity and all the police can tell Ghanaians is people don't report crimes so it will come back to affect the society, is that what the police can tell Ghanaians, what a pity. The problem in Kumasi is not about the inability of the police to deal with the crimes but rather putting of monetary consideration above crime investigation, prevention and its detection. I tell you if we have a way of checking police records to see cases that are often not put before the courts, one will see that many of the criminals have been in police records,I mean they have been apprehended many times but are left off the hook upon monetary considerations exchanging hands.I recalled police personnel from one of the suburbs effecting arrest on a suspects at Suame Magazine over a theft case.Those personnel were nearly lynched by friends of the suspects.I was present when this incident occurred. Less than 12hrs, the suspect was released by the man incharge that suburb without recourse to those who effected the arrest not even the investigator. I followed this case and what happened at end at the police station is so appalling. Police should therefore take the blame for what is happening.
