This is one small step in the right direction to put and end to the selfish greed and destruction of our land! The government can stop this destruction by requiring every mining company, small-scale or large to plant an equal acreage of trees and ensure the trees grow, for land they operate on!!! The mine owners must be required to pay annual fees pollution of water bodies! Ghanaians cannot sit idle while a selfish bunch of people destroy the environment while the many suffer as a consequence! Enough is enough! Wake up Ghana!
