Is it not possible that members of KPMG are not Ghanaians and are from non African countries, are hired to do this work? Preferably members of this Organisation from Britain, or America or Canada who are English speaking be co-opted to do this job? This would ensure neutrality and confidence. No one trusts any black man and we don't trust each other either. This is a continent full of "KALABUULE", meaning a continent where everybody is cheating everybody else.

The NDC would have to explain to Ghanaians how a dead man came to author and sign a letter!
The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”
The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?
The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. I am alive and awake in the Lord. Ghana will not die; Ghana will live to declare the works of the Lord. As I rest in perfect peace in the celestial realms with my maker, I pledge to always uphold and defend the good name of Ghana. Remember the Lord in all your ways and He will protect you. Stay well my brothers and sisters, I will always be with you. Signed (with actual signature) John Evans Atta Mills...

These Supreme Court Judges are not competent enough to sit on this petition and decide, because they are Ghanaians and are black.
Please, note that there is no black or white, except in Europe and The United States Of America.
When I was travelling to America for the first time I DID NOT, Never, know that, there is such segregation as 'black and white' because when the 'Apartheid regime' was ruling in South Africa, all these people from Europe and America were shouting and decrying that system, not knowing that these same segregation is at their 'nose-pos

If you have followed the discussion on this election petition, which in the first place needed not have occurred, you would see that the point I am making is that the Political Parties, mainly the NPP and NDC don't trust anybody dealing with this case unless he/she is in their favour. Even before the SC began sitting there were those who opposed some members of panel being there because they were not trusted to be fair. Independent Observers all said the elections were free, fair and transparent. Yet those who lost had problems with electoral process. All these are the reasons for my posting.

There is something very seriously wrong with this auditing.
How can you audit records which have been tempered with?
Lets use this analogy to visualize the situation:
There is a store-keeper for an auto parts shop. He was asked to proceed on his annual vacation leave. There was no audit of the auto parts shop before his departure and this shop was taken over by another storekeeper.
Now , when there is a shortage, how would one know whether the shortage was caused by either the former storekeeper or the latter?
How can the KPMG know;
1.Whether the shortage was caused by the petitioners before these pink sheets were delivered to the respondents by registrar
or
2 The shortage was deliberately caused by the respondents when they started tempering with these documents as exhibits and evidence in the Supreme court?
3. Where did the counsels for the 1st, 2nd and even the 3rd respondents get their exhibits and pink sheets from?
4. Did these counsels and their aides temper with these pink sheets?
5. Was there a physical count of these pink sheets in the presence of the registrar and certified correct by the respondents before these pink sheets were tempered with as evidence and exhibits in the supreme court?
I am very confused. I don't know whether or not these questions were addressed by Justice Atuguba and the other supreme court Justices before this recounting order was given.
In the absence of these considerations above, I , for one, feel the whole exercise of recounting is dead on arrival, an exercise of futility, and a travesty of justice.
I am waiting to see what these KPMG auditors would do.

I like Akan proverbs, because it explains,in a concise and thoughtful way, what many words and sentences would do.
An Akan proverb goes like this:
"Se okontomponi se one wo be fro dua a, ma no eni kan"
which means in the English Language;
"If a liar tells you that he would climb a tree with you, you ask him to rather take the lead."
What does these imply?
Even right in the court room, when this question of auditing/ recounting of the pink sheets was emphasized by Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata, Mr. Phillip Addison, the lead counsel of the petitioners, raised this initial objection ( that auditing pinks sheets which have been tempered with, and used as exhibits ) and when he, Mr. Phillip Addison, Counsel for the petitioners, was asked again by Justice Atuguba whether or not he objected to auditing/ recounting of the pink sheets he , Mr. Phillip Addison, backed down and said:
"He has no objection."
Why?
He , Mr Phillip Addison was wise. He used his brains!
He did not want it to appear as if he, and the petitioners were having something to hide: Were objecting to the recounting!
He therefore told the ,( excuse me, Not referring to Justice Atuguba in person,)
'liar who wanted to climb the tree with him , to rather take the lead'.
He obliged!
The sweetness of the pudding is in the eating!
Now is it not a travesty of justice to recount documents which have not been counted at the point of delivery, and have been in the custody and exhaustively tempered with?
There you go! Over to you, Joe Lartey!

What is my problem is the logic in your comment.
Iam not saying that I do not trust the "SC and its registry", no , far from that!
What I am think loud about is the rational behind counting documents which were not counted at the time of delivery,. and have been exhaustively tempered with by other parties and are now being ordered to be counted.
How would one know at what point the error or shortage originate?
1. Was it from the petitioners.
2. Was it at the Registry or
3. Was it when it was at the custody of the respondents.
This is my question, Mr. Stoway.
Can you answer me, Please?

This is where the tempering comes from.
The registrar of the supreme court gave these pink sheets to them.
How was Mr. Tony Aidoo able to say that the pink sheets were less than over 3000 copies.
How did he know that?
Was it at the time they were taking delivery from the registrar or after they have scrutinized them?
Don't you know that even counting them after delivery and not at the presence of the registrar is tempering?

Allow them to do their job; they won't compromise; they won't collect bribes as Asiedu Nketia seem to suggest. Weren't they who asked for an audit? NPP's lead council, Mr. Phillip Addison said he has no problems with the auditting request and so is the whole NPP group. Let KPMG do their job; there shouldn't be any kind of interferance at all. They know what to do. KPMG is a solid firm---no gimmicks!

I propose an algorithm for counting the pink sheets.
The pink sheets have various fields. two of these are identifiers - the serial number and the code.
First, the pink sheets with unique serial numbers should be separated from the pile. Second, the serial numbers and code numbers should be used in combination to separate pink sheets with unique serial number-code number combinations from the remaining pink sheets. Any pink sheets remaining after this should be duplicates.
The first and second pile of pink sheets i.e pink sheets with unique serial numbers, and pink sheets with unique serial number-code number combinations should be counted to give total number of different pink sheets submitted.
This total should be 11852 if Dr Bawumia is right. Anything less would mean he misled the court.

The count will be speeded up by first arranging all the pink sheets by serial number from smallest to biggest, and then by code.
