Ndc is now continuing to shoot itself in the other leg, not only have they succeeded in eroding the trust and confidence of the majority of their own supporters with the corruption and looting but also with their ongoing stupidity at the supreme court led by ayigbe idiot fool kwaseaba tsikata. Everybody knows their structures and various interest groups within the party especially the ayigbe are so diabolically evil and and anti developmental that if even archangel Michael led them they would still fail in every positive undertaking. the incompetence is not only destructive but will put a yolk on our necks we shall not be free of in the next 100 years. it took the Akans over 100 years to prepare and gain independence and they allowed the brits to saddle them with another group the ewes who were not on that level and never will be of social consciousness and developmental readiness so no matter what you do they are always in the shadows undermining every effort from the time of kotoka through to rawlings and now . how many genuine projects are being sabotaged and rubbished everyday , yesterday pepeni comes and says we should pay more for energy because of his deal with general electric and the kickback bribe he is taking instead of telling the people the truth that we could actually be paying less for energy than what we pay today . it is the agenda of this evil alliance to push us further into poverty so our people forget any dream of a standard of the 21st century . pepeni continue and you will soon have war

MALAYSIA HAS A SIMILAR CONCEPT AND IT IS REAPING REWARDS.
ARREST THESE FOOLS, JAIL THEM UNTIL A HEAVY BOND/BAIL IS PAID. GATHER THE EVIDENCE AND TAKE THEM TO COURT. PUT YOUR FUCKING FOOT DOWN! CONFISCATE THEIR ASSETS AND PAY OFF THESE MISMANAGED PROJECTS WITH THE PROCEEDS FROM THE PUBLIC AUCTION.
THEN JAIL AND PUBLISH THEIR NAMES IN THE MEDIA. NAME AND SHAME THEM. NKWASIAFOUR! NOT UNDER MY WATCH!
AHA NA WO B3 DA!
the pressing immediate problems confronting the countRY GHANA ARE - no electricity, no water, rife in corruption, high incompetence levels, etc.
At the moment JOHN MAHAMA has NOT articulated any vision for the country and his governance. Ghanaians don't know what he stands for except his mere promises and lies.
For sustainable socio-economic development Ghana needs ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNANCE not mere promises without action as characterised BY MAHAMA'S "leadership".

That is relatively small for the whole of Africa. In fact, we looses more than half of what we get . It must be at least 3digit figure in the billions.

The real issue of Africa's loses is not in terms of physical cash but in terms of our natural and human resource which is not measurable by any figure.
It's like the whole continent politically neo-colonized and the social economy hijacked by foreign intruders.

This is just the amount lost through tax evasion, secret deals and money laundering by multinational companies. It does not include the losses you are talking about. It doesn't even include what the politicians steal.

Mr. Annan could have had a better impact if he told us this when he was UN Secretary General but chose to be quite, Why? He knows for a fact it will not happen, not now and not in the foreseeable future. It's like telling our leaders to come out in public butt naked. Corruption is in their veins and all that flows through them is the people's money. They'll not give it up today or tomorrow even if you can add yesterday to it. From birth to death, all they see and dream about is money and will not hesitate to kill and maine to have it. What we need in Africa is a total revolution in our educational systems. The need to reeducate our young ones to think country first. The young generation is our only hope. For you and me, tweea, it's like throwing a baseball size diamond on a playing field and telling us not to touch it. Kwaku Adjei mankanifuo, only the devil could stop us and you know he won't.

The fact is, countries in the industrialised "North" do not rein in their companies even though they want us to believe they have a moral code.
In the UK alone, over 100 billionaires and countless millionaires have been found to be stashing their monies away in offshore banks. Big business is not paying nearly enough tax. How can Google and Starbucks not pay any corporate tax e.g. in the UK? They connive with some of our leaders in Africa, bribe them so that they can continue to get away with 'murder', yet they are the same to accuse our leaders and governments of corruption!!!
The fact is, Africa is rich and if our resources were properly policed, utilised and invested for the common good, we should be loaning out to the likes of Spain, Italy and Portugal rather than forever being dependent on foreign aid.
You see what happened to Portugal once they had lost their grip on Angola? Angola is thriving and Portugal is on its knees. This is one of the countries the Osagyefo Dr Nkrumah once described as "even Portugal, one of the poorest nations in Europe claims to have colonies in Africa"! African Unity must mean power to the Union and a set of strict standards to be followed by all to ensure we get value for money and that our citizens are not short-changed. African are hard working and if our leadership and big business would only play fair, we would go a very long way in our developmental efforts.
