  yes, it seems more jobs are getting to Sekond-Takoradi area but you can not be sure, more especially, if the Chinese are involved. A Chinese company can even choose to come with unskilled workers (labourers) from China.

  Anyway why is a Belgian contractor going to undertake both the design and construction work? Is it part of the conditions to be granted KBC Bank NV of Belgium loan?
  
  Assuming Ghana Railway Company agreeS to the negotiation to release the Takoradi Railway Station to be converted into container terminal, will there be a New Takoradi Railway Station anywhere?

  When will Ghanaian leaders stop borrowing money from outside world for even when they want to buy kenkey. We have been borrowing enough for this country, Japanese loan, Chinese loan, German loan, Israel loan, American loan and the stuff. But in reality, do we need outside loan, I don´t think so, what we need is BRAIN aid thats all. Because we have been surrounded with everything, we get diamond, gold, bauxite, manganese, salt, Timber, rivers, sea, fertile land, forest, we even get Oil.

  Building a container depot at the old Sekondi Railway station would be most welcome and revive the Sekondi-Takoradi rail line.

  The rehabilitation of Takoradi Harbour must be expedited to facilitate movement of cargo and to support the gas and oil industry.
