    I 100% agreed with the writer.
    These so-called doctors who are supposed to save lifes are now indirectly or directly killing their patients. All in the name of MONEY. Shameful and Disgrace Doctors indeed!

    The doctors are demanding the full payment of their salary arrears for the year 2012. The strike has come about as a result of failed arbitration by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.

    There is police hospital, 37 military and numerous private hospitals which accept NHIS still working,so unless one wants to die because he knows only KBU then its unfortunate ...

    Eva, the central question is the human lives at stake. Should the pension reduction or restoration of conversion difference cause more Ghanaians to die? Did you subject medical oath you swore to pension or any other thing?

    The NLC has the powers of a court, yet when GMA patiently petitioned them for almost 2 years and got a compromised ruling (compulsory arbitration), what did we see? Fair wages arrogantly flouted the ruling.

    The doctors that participated in the strike ought to be fired and given individuall contract which will include paying back the amount of money the government spent in their education, because the strike is illigal.
