Let me give you some examples of the best instituitions in Ghana established by the Methodist Church and I mean the best of the best: Mfantsipim(Cape Coast) Wesley Girls (Cape Coast) Wesley Grammar(Accra). Prempeh College (Kumasi) Wesley College (Kumasi). Gentleman, these are just a few I want to mention. When it comes to educating Ghanaians, this Church has done more than any other organization and even your so called Government. I want to yo know the Methodist church has established so many hospitls in Ghana far more than what your government has done. I will provide you with the list if you so desire. Do not be so naive and face the issue being raised squarely. Are you a moron?

We're very pathetic bunch of people. What is happening in Africa cannot happen anywhere in the world.

One would think that people who were once enslaved and colonized would wise up. Not Africans, the whole continent is retreating into colonization, and our so-called intellectuals, politicians, chiefs, business elites and all those who were supposed to be enlightened, know and learn from history, are either asleep or part of the looting and duping gangs. Shame on all African political and business elites.

Much as I agree with you that Martha has not exercised the best judgment in her attack on the Methodist church, I do also disagree with you on some of the claims you made in favor of the church. For instance, it is simply not correct that the Methodist church has built more hospitals in Ghana than the Ghana government. It is also not correct that "when it comes to educating Ghanaians, this church has done more than any other organization and even your so called government". Please note that even the schools built by the Methodist church and other churches are assisted one way or the other by government in order for them to thrive. The church(es) therefore cannot possibly do more than the government. Furthermore unless you come up with verifiable statistics you cannot claim that the Methodist church has established more institutions in Ghana or has done more to educate Ghanaians than say the Catholic or Presbyterian churches. One little point: Trivial though this may sound, just so you know, Prempeh College is a joint venture of Methodist and Presbyterian. And last but not the least, One can tell that you are quite well educated and therefore could have shown more decorum by not asking the question at the end of your comment. You can do better than that can't you?

A priest was driving along a road in Temptation and saw a nun on the side of the road. He stopped and offered her a lift which she accepted. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to open and reveal a lovely leg. The priest had a look and nearly had an accident.

After controlling the car, he stealthfully slid his hand up her leg. The nun looked at him and immediately said, "Father, remember psalm 129?"

The priest was flustered and apologized profusely. He forced himself to remove his hand. However, he was unable to remove his eyes from her leg.

Further on while changing gear, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again Said, "Father, remember psalm 129?" Once again the priest apologized. "Sorry sister, but the flesh is weak."

Arriving at the convent, the nun got out, gave him a meaningful glance, and went on her way.

On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to retrieve a bible and looked up psalm 129. It Said, "Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory."

MORAL OF THE STORY: Always be well informed in your job, or you might miss a great opportunity!

The fact is, there are no short cut way of solving Ghana's social problems. The best solution to the problem should be involvment of Ghana army forces and not insighting them to take over elected government, no, that is not interllecgent!!! The government of the day, must appoints some of the Ghana army forces personers to head some sensitive positions such as, funincers, new energy and gas developments, roads contracts and construction, immergration,agric and all regioneral capitals. Yes, Ghana produces highly trainned army officers every day, and they are competant, interllectgant, proffessional and well educated. So, please let us invite and allowed them to assist, but not coup!!!!! Please, Ghana give then chance, after all they are part of beloved Ghana.

We should blame Pndc/ndc governments for the way our mineral resources are being dug ruthless and also the negative impacts on the enviroment .It all stated when after lost of many jobs through the sale of most state own companies including gihoc,the then government pndc/ndc led by Rawlings began to issue permit to small scale mining in am attempt to employ the jobless without proper any health&safety and enviromental laws to be followed ,today we have many foreigners led by the chinise and aided by our corrupt and greedy politicians,chiefs and business who have decided that for sake of gold every illegal means would be used to extract the metal at the cost of precious lives,river bodies and many more.The current government is weak and lack the political will to act ,am sorry this can not be allowed to just happen only in ghana.
