It's a good idea to be abreast with the state of the art technology in football but don't we have more pressing needs in our sports development plans that would require huge infusion of investment money? For instance we need to develop various sports and athletics disciplines at the lowest level of education to attain a sustainable growth in sports disciplines .The US is a world sporting giant because they invest in sports at the grassroots level. They started playing soccer only a few years ago but in some of the states I've had the privilege of driving through its suburban areas I discovered that the towns and villages are dotted with soccer playing fields.They've made significant progress in football and I won't be surprised if they win the World Cup anytime soon. We can use the money for goal line technology to buy thousands of boots, balls,jerseys, playing fields, etc. for our primary schools. We don't have the luxury of having too much to spend on sports development and we need to make wise use of the little we have; spend the money where it'd make the greatest impact and achieve accelerated and sustainable growth in sports.
