we are all witnesses to the lies and maliciously abominable agendas of the ewe mafia ruling by proxy today. in as much as the claim to be wanting to do the right think they are incompetent and amateur in everything they undertake to do . half his appointees lack any proper experience and this is their first real job, their actions instead of bringing unity have caused divisions to deepen and even new ones appear . after 20 years of work the npp allowed a fool like kuffuor to rule for 8 years and are now paying very dearly the price of his attempt to impose ahanti domination over the rest of the Akans thus enabling the return of the ndc woe on Ghana. pepeni has copied his partner in crime's style and appointed mainly minority muslim alajihs and ewe mischief s . after this mandate never again will a corrupt , wicked , evil northerner , ewe or ashanti be given the opportunity to lead us no matter what party platform they stand on . the attitude of me and my tribesmen against the Akans and other Ghanaian s will never pass again as its been exposed and we are all now much wiser . yes they will not have an easy ride chopping our money and we will make sure they answer for all their crimes sooner or later

We all know that the government has promised o pay them their due in three instalments. What the doctors are saying is that,if the government is serious about that promise, they should put it into writing and sign it. Why is the government dragging its feet? That should be the question on every Ghanaian lip.
Please, rather than accuse the doctors of breaking their professional code of conduct, let us all ask the government why it cannot do this simple thing, if it is sincere in its promise to pay in three instalments to the doctors.

Didn't you read the article well or you are illiterate? They have negotiation with the government for their arrears and other payments which the insensitive government has refused to honor. They have been protecting lives all the while but they are employees and need to be paid what they deserve. They government has not said there is no money to pay them, and of course they can not say that because of their own abuse of the system, just that the clueless government does not respect the pedigree of these doctors and is taking them for granted. And is you have any sense at all, you will support the doctors to get what they want and work with joy. Ghanaian doctor has no respect or recognition, no incentives or motivation, they work under extremely unbearble conditions. But they can travel to other countries where they will receive humanly reasonably wages for their hard work which some have done. These ones have stayed for the love of their country and for that alone, they deserve respect from the government and Mahama.

After dinner, one thing leads to another and they end up in her hotel bedroom. Just as things get hot, the female doctor interrupts and says she has to go and wash her hands. Once she comes back they go for it. After the sex session, she gets up and says she is going to wash her hands.

As she comes back the male doctor says, "I bet you are a Heart surgeon".

The government cannot allow these doctors or any other public employees to hold a gun to its head - just because the bastards in Parliament availed themselves of the ex gratia in the Constitution.Where was the GMA when Kufuor,Mpiani,Obetsebi-Lamptey and others collected their huge ex gratia payments?

The NDC government from Egya Atta's time,has been too weak(and continues to be weak - Fama Nyame syndrome)in dealing with wayward politicians and labor issues.

The time has come for the removal of of ex gratia and the Indemnity Clause from the Constitution.At the same time,the government MUST enforce labor laws,fire all striking doctors and remove them from government premises.Those who want to stay on as public employees,should re-apply for their positions.

In the meantime,the government should appeal to the governments of Cuba, India and Pakistan for temporary doctors to replace the unpatriotic, ungrateful(poor Ghanaians paid for their education)and NPP inspired doctors.The money saved from their salaries can be used to pay these new foreign doctors.Their accomodation would not be a problem,since they can occupy the bungalows used by the striking doctors.

The fired doctors can go into private practice or go anywhere they want - AS LONG AS THEY PAY BACK TO THE GOVERNMENT ALL MONIES SPENT ON THEIR EDUCATION.Those who fail to pay back should be denied exit visas to leave the country.

Mahama should Man Up,for this is a serious national security issue.He should take a cue from Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan and solve this present labor issue with firm but fair hands - before it cascades into a never ending "each for himself,God for us all" money grabbing labor fights.

So my suggestion is this : since there are no barriers to becoming a politician, intellectuals must move into the fray. Then, it is about time , the salary and exgratia of MPS are revisited. Please tell the public that the doctors are not complaining about their salaries rather the calculation of their pension which is computed without the allowances they are enjoying presently. To brake the present saga into simple terms, means that when a doctor is paid out-of-station allowance which is added to his salary, the government must pay a percentage of the allowance to him if he goes on pension. Dr. tell the whole world that this is what your colleagues are demanding. One day the myth surrounding the medical profession will be broken and we shall all rest. Remember Medicine is an operative job and not an end in its self.

Ghanaians do not even pay fully for medical school, and yet once we become doctors we feel like we are more important than any other employee. i think this is full of nonsense. Medical schools must not be free any more, and governments must be brave enough to cut off tuition spending in medical schools. After all, they can use that money to pay them if they complete medical schools. I am just totally angry that medical doctors, and government employees as a whole always want to hold the nation to its knees. Why are we Africans like this? Which part of the world are we from? We must be realistic and know what is going on in this world. They can do what they are doing if they paid for their medical schools from their pockets, and even that, the government as an employer has to dictate the terms of employment. You take the terms, or you leave it.
