Love him or hate him, Dr. Bawumiah has been a headache to the NDC/EC legal team since the commencement of the election petition hearing. His statistical knowledge of electoral figures, his deep knowledge of Ghanaian politics, his unflinching position on the evidence he presented, his ability to withstand barrage of cross examination and turning the opponent's stronghold to be a liability, his staying power in the box without showing any sign of fatigue or psychological lapse, his intellectual prowess has made the NDC/ EC very uncomfortable to say the least.

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

I find very sad when majority Ghanaians (out of ignorance and ethnocentrism) behave like kids. What is wrong when one goes to the SC to petition his case of malpractice by the EC? Dr Bawumia and the other petitioners are aggrieved and have resorted to the constitution so what is the problem? Democracy is hand in hand with the courts and not the other way round (violence). If the NDC and the EC have nothing to hide then they should wait for the final verdict -the truth will unravel then. The insult of Dr Bawumia will never change the verdict. Long Live Ghana, Long Live Democracy.

Whatever pink sheets that they would produce should meet that which the NPP has already provided in affidavit to the court.

Kwadjo Afari-Gyan thinks he's smarter than anyone in Ghana. Now all their dirty tricks have been laid bare before the Justices and Ghanaians in general. People can now understand clearly why Nana Akufo-Addo & Co., turned to the Courts for justice. This election fraud has been going on for a very long time and we're determined to stop it once and for all.

The NDC has the notion that when the verdict is stollen for them, nobody can challenge it. Esp., when the Prez. has been sworn in. Well, in this world where we're governed by the the constitution, every wrong esp. in an election can be reversed by the power that be.

American Cycling Gold-Medalist, Lance Armstrong had won almost every race in World Cycling Marathon Race. When he was found to have cheated in the Cycling competition, he has been stripped off all his trophies and medals. He's facing court sue and by various sponsors in the US and around the world for cheating.The EC and the NDC must take notice.

They [EC & NDC] shouldn't think that cheating in an election is just for jokes. Election fraud is a serious matter punishable by jail term. That's why all parties have been asked to swear affidavit.

So far, the astute economist and statistician has proven to the courts and the whole world that he means what he's provided; he's educated or enlightened all of us by his in-depth annalysis of the kind of fraud that took place during the December 7-8, election. We should all be thankful for having such a brilliant man as a brother and countryman.

Now I'm beginning to see why some people plotted to kill him through road accident. But the Lord is alive! He who has been blessed by God, no-one can curse. May God bless Dr. Bawumia and his family.

I recall all those who jumped on Mahama Ayariga`s 'case',complaining vehemently that he did not belong to the 'big' league of this country`s politics! But on a more serious note, is it not the same Bawumiah & company, who are canvassing Justices of the SC to disenfrinchise bona fide voters simply because an election document did bear the signature of an election official, or that documents bore "duplicate" polling station codes. Good heavens! Are these people really serious,and value the principle of one man,one vote,which underlines the concept of democracy,as practised all over the globe? My beef with Bawumiah and his friends is that they have hand-picked polling stations advatageous to their side, and cleverly ignored those that will hurt their candidate. The so-called categories of 'infractions the NPP is relying on have been found to be present in polling stations in constituencies they won massively, namely Akyem Abuakwa South(Atta Akyea`s turf),and New Tafo,Akoto Osei`s electoral area in the Ashanti region. The petitioners have been caught in their own web of 'lies',and cannot, and must not ran away from it.
