A wise Judge indeed. NAB should always seek the interest of our students and stop this bribery nonsense. All they were looking for was CASH.

Can you imagine any fool billing students to sit and sing without a Council? I wonder why some students will choose to go to such schools without finding out what they have for offer. these same institution will churn out quarter bake graduates to flood the job market. no wonder the graduate unemployment is at all time high.
hmmm, Ghana lets pray for God to save our children

This is a rubbish decision which i do not expect the NAB to comply with.I expect NAB to immediately appeal against the judge's decision. The judgement implies that any institution found to have broken NAB rules should be allowed to operate and not be sanctioned appropriately.Anyway what has the closure of the university got to do with the violation of the human rights of the petitioners? The NAB was rightly enforcing its regulations.

Why is NAB allowing the establishment of so many rubbish universities in the country? The owners of these universities are just out to make money and nothing else.Just look at how they have been packing their universities with unqualified students to pursue degree courses.Because of these private universities degrees from universities in Ghana are no more respected ouside of the country. They have also flooded the country with sub-standard graduates who have added to the serious graduates unemployment problem facing the country. Is it right for the government to allow the establishment of so many private universities which are churning out so many graduates only to be unemployed? It appears our decision makers are always getting it wrong.

there are soo many private universities becuase both your past and present governements are dumb - they have no forsight.
The commonsence logic is for government to forcast or make projections about our development, and take the necessar actions or strategies.
For instance, based on Ghana's rate of population growth, governments could forcast/make projections as to the number of students likely to qualify to the uni. Based on that projection, governements will then set out our development agenda and expand the exciting infrastruture to cater for any expected increases. This is what our past and present goverments have failed to do, so you onlyy have private individuals cashing in.
