Any foreign investment in which foreigners buy foreign currency on the local market and transfer it out of the country is not beneficial and must be eliminated. It would affect our GDP and sovereign current account balance negatively

Google and all these telecommunication giants in developed nations are not engaged in wired infrastructures because they love to throw money away but because wireless systems are only meant to supplement wired systems. In Ghana we chose to rush into mobile wireless technology because the fools who gave away Ghana Telecom to Vodafone did not know about technology neither did they understand upcoming advancement in technology.
Just as there will never be wireless electricity delivery system, so it is that no business, city or nation can survive on a wireless system without land lines. We have not resolved the potential of unlimited bandwidth in wireless systems, full throttle for wireless deliveries; the only thing that is certain is land structures. Until we get back to basics and seriously provide fiber network systems along with electricity to every city and homes therein we will be just as limited with our development, employment and exports that drive upward economic activities. In short we will continue to be a beggar nation while we pretend to be making progress because someone told us Ghana is a far better democratic nation relative to SSA nations.
