It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution...

His diagnosis is so simple it is laughable. Do we have proper hospitals? Do we have enough health facilities?, do we have enough health professionals? etc etc. Why advocate the murder of babies Prof. Sai?

When you take a critical look at that man's head you know that he is not only lazy but stupid as well. Who made him a professor? With this kind of thinking I a pity any student that ever came this man's way? In Ghana not only do we not have proper maternal health facilities but lazy people in the health sector are so corrupt that Lucifer looks like a saint. This lazy and ugly sai himself has admitted that "abortion is legal in Ghana", so why are pregnant women who are at risk not exercising their rights?

THE NATIONAL HEALTH SCHEME WAS TO PROVIDE FREE TREATMENT TO REDUCE MATERNAL MORTALITY BUT THE SCHEME APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN BOTCHED BY THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT. THIS IS WHAT REV. MARTEY IS ALLUDING TO THAT THE REASONS ARE NOT JUST LIMITED TO CHRISTIAN TEACHINGS ALONE.

In some developed countries it is a right for every woman, not man to have abortion at the cost to the state once a year. You deserve the right to go to the same facility you had the abortion another time, but at a cost to you. Sex is a right to every woman if it does not break her marriage vows and if it is not for sale.
So so long as sex is a biological need of women, which they should not be denied, the state must see to it that they have safe abortion, if the do not need the child. Aborting at a health facility under the supervision of a qualified doctor must not be criminalized.

Is the Church teaching mothers to use unsafe methods to kill the babies our 'honorable prof' would describe as UNWANTED??? I feel very sad he describes himself as a christian, and yet is irritated by God's thou shall nots. What then makes him the christian he claim to be??? God teaches abstinance, and satan teaches induldence. If the 'prof' stands for indulgence, so are those who do indulge in abortion for their own resons. After all the church does not prepare the concoctions for them, nor does the church give them money to go in for unsafe abortion. If they trully believe in the God of the Christians, they will never be pregnant n the first place, because they will only go in for it when they are ready, and not describe those inocent babies as UNWANTED. How pathetic of such irresponsible mothers, killing babies at will, and having so called 'learned' men blame those that value the human life( The Church) for their evil acts. I AM VERY VERY SAD that a prof could call on women( the irresponsible killer types)to campaign against the Church's stance against abortion. Has the church held anybody's neck and forced them to stick to her principles? It is a choice. It is sexual immorality, for which I believe the 'prof' is a staunch advocate, that is resulting in the maternal mortality as most would be mothers and fathers have nothing to offer the baby. To avoid responsibility, they then resort to those abortions. DONT EVER BLAME THE CHURCH, THE CHURCH IS ONLY THERE FOR THE GOOD OF MEN, however, it has always been a choice to join or stay away from God's thou shall nots. Let the saint praise the Name of God, and responsible parents teach their children to get well prepared before getting pregnant. SHALOM.

Unfortunately for us we allow these precious commodities to rot in our market centers. Even the free synthetic Folic acid given to our pregnant women is not being used by them because most of them claim they don't like the smell of it. I think our health officials will serve our pregnant women better if they can advice the pregnant women to take oranges, bananas, pear or tropical spinach as alternative to the folic acid. As for Rev Martey I will urge him on for taking the battle to the gate of hell but for Prof Sai he is one of the useless university graduates who have brought this country on her knees. Ghanaians must ignore him.
