As the first person to comment on such an important issue,Ghanaians have to be on the know of some wicked, neighbours from West African countries,who come as syndicate,to connive with the some evil,jobless Ghanaians,to convince them to steal these Fibre -Optics which are very expensive.The Tele-Com Companies ,eventually will incease their tarrifs,and the genuie ordinary Ghanaian will suffer.It is time,the Security and the Interior Ministry,embark on periodic checks and tip-off,to arrest such situations,before its too late!

I don't seem to get it. Fibre cables do not have copper in them - only strands of fibre as thin as human hair, through which information signals travel in the form of light. So what are they cutting them for?

I think the best solution is to ban the exportation of copper so as to reduce the destruction of these cables
