Now, by the look of the accident car in the picture posted on myjoy, even if his injuries are not "life threatening", the good Dr. should get PLENTY of rest to make sure his body has fully recuperated before exerting too much physical activity with it..
Having said the above, it is HIGH TIME for Dr. Bawumia to weigh in from the comfort of his home on the ordeal he went through, the controversy and the political farce that his misfortune is becoming, and possibly where the car involved is being hidden, to end this "comedy of errors" before it degenerates further..
Dr. Bawumia owes it to Ghanaians who may still believe in his decency and to his own political future. He should not remain"mumumu" in this situation as the opportunist that I believe he is, while others take the fall for this, and while his future is being gambled away by a madman called "Sir John"

The level of indiscipline, lawlessness and injustice in our country should be a great worry to all. Sometimes, when I listen to radio or read the print news on the internet concerning the situation in our country, I feel very sad. We take things such as the peace, democracy and co-existence for granted. If a leading political person is telling the police to go to court in order to enable them carry out their duty, then where are we taking this nation to? I believe that, we as a people often fail to appreciate what is happening in Nigeria with regards to insecurity, when the law does not work and people can challenge authority openly without fear, it is an indication that the country may be setting bad examples for the future and as citizen we should prepare for the collective responsibility and blame. The law only functions when you are a poor person and don't belong to any recognizable group in our country. This is unfortunate, immoral and dangerous for the nation. I rest here.

I blame both the law enforcement and the security agencies for this situation because they allowed this guy to create room for himself by not arresting and prosecuting him immediately after the elections when he made statements to the effect that they (ie the NPP) would make the nation ungovernable if the law enforcement and the security agencies arrested their members who would cause mayhem to show their displeasure with the results--and then went on to incite them to do exactly that. There was a raft of charges that could've been preferred against this guy to ensure be wouldn't see daylight for some time. But he was given a pass. Thus emboldening him and his ilk.
Now this guy has committed felonious acts again and need to be arrested but the police is trying to give him a pass again by focusing on getting the vehicle and leaving him who was the person orchestrating all this lawless saga--as if they needed the courts' permission to rein him in. What nonsense is that? At the last count, there were at least ten criminal charges on the law books he could face.
Gradually this hooligan of a lawyer called Afriyie, his closet supporters within the NPP leadership, and his minions within the membership are gradually 'making the country ungovernable.' The earlier they were stopped, the better it would be for the country.
