Moses was an abandoned child but he saved his folks.nOBODY CAN STOP YOU FROM ACHIEVING YOUR DREAMS UNLESS YOUR SELF.
David was a child he proved all the Generals wrong by Killing Goliath.

A few decades ago when I was growing up (in the village) it was the children who went to the riverside to bring water home for household use. It was the children who went to fetch firewood for all the cooking done in the house after helping on the farm. We cleared the bushes around the house and also did all the domestic chores. Despite these 'harsh' conditions under which we grew up many of us studied hard enough and gained scholarships to schools and colleges both home and abroad and have become Engineers, Doctors, Lawyers and what-have-you. We recognised that there was dignity in labor and did not see ourselves as slaves and our parents or guardians as slave masters. I can hardly imagine anyone who grew up under the said conditions who would claim to have regretted being a part of that culture; because that culture made us what we are today. Fortunately there is so much advancement today that fetching water for household use by a teenager is frowned upon as child abuse and helpng an uncle with the fishing business is considered slavery. I guess those of us who grew up in the good old days would all be considered for international Awards today.

Alldepend on the CHOICE of who wants to do what at what stage or time. I see no reason why selling a kid is considered a crime while abortion is not in the civilised world. Success.

Having an abortion in the early stages of pregnancy because both partners decided they don't want to carry on whatever their reason will stop having so may children in whom some are sold to child and sex traffikers. A foetus may be considered as a human being but it is not until it has been delivered at whatever age. Have you ever heard a doctor or scientist telling you a baby is breathing with their eyes opended, and walking inside a mother's womb? For a child who can breathe, talk, walk and decide he/she doesn't want to be involved in slavery is incomparable to abortion. You don't count you chickens till the eggs have hathced. Those who see abortion as a crime and similar to slavery is a fool and ignorant. Read the history of slavery and abortion and come back to tell me, if at any point in time, an unborn child is counted as a human being. If you think a foetus is a being, then get all pregant women counted as two during census. Just because your religion and believes see abortion as disgusting shouldn't make you see all crimes such as child trafficking and slavery similar to what a woman o man chooses do to in regards to procreation. I'm not surprised by your comments either becuase religion especially christianity have enslaved millions of people both physically and mentally. If you don't knwo, go to Cape Coast castle and all the slave holding castles in Africa. Beneath the church of the missionaries or colonial masters were slaves bonded in chains, starving in agony, not caring the effect it had on them. Yet, these colonial masters have guts to worship as christians right above their slaves. Go and read and learn religious bigot.
