  this commander is not behaving as a practical police officer. how can you blame the politicians when you have every power of the law to prevent such situations from happening. what is the use of informants or the bni? it appears he is the kind of lazy officers who will not leave their offices until they clohtse for the day. he said this problems started about a month ago. why did he wait until things got of hand? does'nt he know what are proactive or preventive measures?
  this should rather shut his mouth and do the right thing otherwise the should bring him for refresher course. he should be replaced immediately by an efficient and practical police office before the north goes into flames again. rig

  You talk as if you don`t know the situation of the Police in Ghana.Every order comes from above,that is the Politicians.Otherwise why do Politicians order the Police to reliese a criminal,just because they belong or support the ruling part?This has nothing to do with any one political party.In Ghana the Party in power is the law not our constitution.The Police in Ghana are powerless that is why they have turn the Police service to their own private business taking bribe left and right.

  this officer has shocked most of us. he behaved like a civilian in police uniform. did he realy ungo rigid police training at the police college or he is just a square peg in round hole. is it the police or the politician who is mandated to protect life and property? what did he do when there were signs about a month ago that this kind of insecurity was going to happen? did he put in measures as a serious police officer to avert the problem? is he relating well with his counterpart in the bni and the military in the north. seriously speaking i dont believe this man is a practical police officer. he needs to be brought down for a serious re-training at the police college otherwise his cicilian thinking on the ground will one day see the north in flames again. the commander in the upper region will be more efficient to handle the north than this civilian in police uniform.
