It is only NPP and its short-sighted visionless leaders that do not see abything good in this approach. This will help reduce undue pressure on the regional ministers from their communities of residence. Though it might have some disadvantages but it is the best approach because regional ministers are only political heads and not administrators or managers of the region. Good job his excellency Mahama. Leave them.

This is the best decision from President Mahama since he took over the mantle of leadership. The decision is good and has come at the right time. The onus is now on the respective Regional Ministers to prove their wealth. Colonel John Kabore did it in the Volta Region and has been tooted as the best Volta Regional Minister to date. My advise to them is to get a formidable team of planners and administrators in place across the districts, call for constant review meetings with them and personally monitor and evaluate what they tell you by visiting the project sites and calling for results. In all these activities, do not isolate yourself from the people you are supposed to serve; be one with them. I wish all the Regional Ministers the best of luck. You can do it.
