Why do we ALWAYS have to reach a crisis before the right thing is done?
This is absolutely unacceptable when it comes to life and death. Do we, as a nation, really know where we are going? Do we know where we even are and what it takes to make a contry functional? We should stop talking about being a middle income country etc. Nothing works: power supply is bad, water supply is bad, healthcare delivery is bad, we are gradually being destroyed by corruption and filth. Excellence is an unknown word. Mediocrity is the beautiful word. And yet we keep beating our chests that we are this and we are that. And we are not ashamed. After 56 years! This is sad, indeed.
