Hmmmm!increasing the already high tariffs in the system is not the answer or way 4ward...
a well organized[arranged according to a particular system]way of collecting the bills or money might be 100% better than tariff adjustment or increment...believe it or not ..people are feeling the pinch of hardship...
care shd be taking about the way we are increasing tariffs on everything...not every ghanaian is earning as much as the politicians as well as the parliamentarian, ministers etc....
even the funny side of the story is all those earning fat salaries by crook or honest..does not pay even a pesewa on any of the utilities...they enjoy them freely while the poor pay from their skinny salaries...
so @ the end of the day those fatty salaries earners start making unnecessarily demand on the already poor 2 pay more through their nostril or asking them to keep tightening their belts 4 no reasoning!Hmmm!
they say...when it happen to some people..others think they`re wood ..but when it happen to them, you hear them sighing[to breathe out slowly and noisily, expressing tiredness, sadness, pleasure, etc]
they`re woods & we`re flesh by politicians!

When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

THIS IS WHY I'LL ALWAYS INDICATE HERE ON THIS FORUM THAT GHANA'S "LEADERS" ARE DOWNRIGHT USELESS.
GHANA'S SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP DESERVE TO BE TIED TO POISONOUS THORNY STAKES AT THE TESHIE MILITARY RANGE AND BEHEADED SLOWLY UNTIL THEY GIVE UP THE GHOST.
THE INDISCRIMINATE INCREASE IN UTILITY TARIFFS, USUALLY BY OVER 5% AT A TIME, HAPPENS ONLY IN GHANA AND OTHER USELESS AFRICAN COUNTRIES.
THE BLACKMAN, PARTICULARLY AFRICA'S LEADERSHIP, IS REALLY STUPID, LAZY, CORRUPT, VISIONLESS AND CURSED, AND THE EVIDENCE OF THIS ABOUND IN GHANA AND THE REST OF HOPELESS AFRICA, THE DARK CONTINENT.
GOD HAS BLESSED WEST AFRICA'S (INCLUDING GHANA) COASTLINE WITH STRONG WIND FORCES JUST WAITING FOR INVESTMENT IN WINDMILLS FOR GENERATING CLEAN ELECTRICITY.
ADDITIONALLY, THE SUBSOIL BENEATH GHANA'S COASTLINE IS RICHLY ENDOWED WITH VAST LIMITLESS DEPOSITS OF QUALITY URANIUM AND PLUTONIUM WHICH COULD BE MINED AND USED AS REACTOR FUELS, THE SPENT RADIOACTIVE PART OF WHICH COULD BE ENRICHED IN CENTRIFUGES AND USED TO MANUFACTURE ATOMIC WEAPONS OR NUCLEAR WARHEADS FOR EXPORT, JUST LIKE THE WESTERN COUNTRIES, ISRAEL, INDIA AND PAKISTAN HAVE BEEN DOING TO THIS DAY TO INCREASE THEIR NATIONAL REVENUES.
THE REST OF THESE SPENT RADIOCATIVE FUELS CAN BE USED IN MEDICINE, CANCER RESEARCH AND TREATMENT, DRUGS MANUFACTURE, MEDICAL RESEARCH, FOR RUNNING SPACE MISSIONS LIKE AMERICA'S NASA DOES, AND MANY, MANY, MANY OTHERS.
THESE, AMONG OTHERS, WERE PART OF DR. NKRUMAH'S VISION FOR CONSTRUCTING THOSE HUGE NUCLEAR REACTORS AT KWABENYA, WHICH SADLY, ARE NOW "WHITE ELEPHANT" PROJECTS, THANKS TO THE USELESSNESS AND LACK OF VISIONARY, HARDWORKING AND SELFLESS SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP IN GHANA.
THESE, AMONG OTHERS, WERE PART OF DR. NKRUMAH'S VISION FOR OBSESSIVELY ESTABLISHING THE ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION, WHICH LIKE MANY OTHER DEFUNCT STATE INSTITUTIONS, IS SADLY NOW A "WHITE ELEPHANT" ESTABLISHMENT, THANKS TO THE USELESSNESS AND LACK OF VISIONARY, HARDWORKING AND SELFLESS SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP IN GHANA.
GHANA IS SO BLESSED NATURALLY THAT OUR SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS SHOULD NOT BE SO OBSESSED WITH MAKING EASY MONEY IN THE NAME OF EXPLOITATIVE TAX REVENUE GENERATION.
GHANA IS SO BLESSED NATURALLY THAT OUR SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS SHOULD NOT BE SO OBSESSED WITH MAKING EASY MONEY IN THE NAME OF EXPLOITATIVE TAX REGIMES, WHICH DO NOT PROMOTE GROWTH OF GHANA'S ECONOMY, AND THE EVIDENCE OF THIS IS PLENTIFUL.
ONE DOESN'T NEED A PHD IN ROCKET SCIENCE TO KNOW THAT "KILLER" TAX REGIMES IN GHANA HAVE BEEN COUNTERPRODUCTIVE BECAUSE OUR NATION DOES NOT HAVE THE TAX-COLLECTING MACHINERY AND STRUCTURE IN PLACE LIKE THE WESTERN COUNTRIES DO, SO WE MUST STOP COPYING THE WEST BLINDLY.
GHANA DISCOVERED LARGE DEPOSITS OF GOLD, DIAMONDS, PLATINUM, BAUXITE AND MANY OTHER MINERALS, COCOA, TIMBER AND MANY OTHERS, YEARS AGO, YET THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING "ON THE GROUND" TO SHOW FOR ALL THESE LIMITLESS NATURAL WEALTH FROM GOD.
THEN COMES HYDROCARBONS "CRUDE OIL" OUT OF THE BLUE.
WE HAVE THE TEMA OIL REFINERY TO RETRO-FIT AND EXPAND TO REFINE ALL THE CRUDE OIL IN GHANA, YET OUR SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP PREFER TO "INVEST" IN THE PAYMENT OF "JUDGMENT DEBTS", WHY?
WE HAVE THE TEMA OIL REFINERY TO RETRO-FIT AND EXPAND TO REFINE ALL THE CRUDE OIL IN GHANA IN ORDER TO MAKE LIFE WORTH LIVING FOR THE ORDINARY GHANAIAN, YET OF LEADERS PREFER TO USE THOSE MONIES TO PAY OUT "JUDGMENT DEBTS", AND EX-GRATIA AND OTHER BENEFITS TO OUR USELESS ATRICLE "WHATEVER" LEADERSHIP.
GHANA'S SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP DESERVE TO BE TIED TO THORNY STAKES AT THE TESHIE MILITARY RANGE AND BEHEADED SLOWLY UNTIL THEY GIVE UP THE GHOST.
GHANA SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP HAVE SOON FORGOTTEN WHERE THEY'RE COMING FROM, AND THAT'S WHY THEY'VE CERTAINLY FORGOTTEN WHERE THEY'RE GOING.
WE SHALL ALL SWIM IN THE SHIT CREATED BY GHANA'S USELESS LOOTING LEADERSHIP!!

VRA cannot find any better ways and means to solve their crisis than to increase tariffs. This is a big shame.
They have forgotten that they waste millions of cedis through poor revenue collection strategies. If they solve this first, they will see no reason to increase the tariffs for the poor people in Ghana to pay.
This means that, even if the poor cannot pay the tariffs, they will still be in darkness. What a shameful country.
That not withstanding, we will get people who will see no problems in the country and will always sing praises to the politicians. Praises for their stomachs. May God have mercy on us.

Everybody wants to take Ghanaians for a ride. Ghanaians have always been asked to tighten their belts, whilst the non-Ghanaians among us are buying big togas to cover their pot bellies. Let the energy providers collect what the government owes them and use that to improve the service they provide us, then come back and tell us they need some support from us to maintain the good service they provide us. Otherwise, they should just shut up and get on with their jobs. How do they expect us to pay more for something which we are not getting? Since they started the load shedding, did they consider that we were not getting the service they were supposed to provide us so they were reducing the tariffs to reflect what we were getting? Ghanaians should come together and resist this proposed increase in tariffs. Arise, fellow Ghanaians, and resist oppressors' rule!

President Mahama you have already failed the Ghanaian.
Is this what you and Mills promised Ghana of a 'better Ghana'?
You are a liar, you give yourself and the MP's fat increases before you work on the rest of us. Yes we got increases all right. So President Mahama how do expect the average Ghanaian who work for a living to cope with all this?
Petrol prices going up? Water prices going up and now electricity prices is going up.
President Mahama so when you gave yourself a fat raise, did ever think about raising also the wages of the farmer; the police officer; the nurses and docs. How about the fisher man?
President Mahama I stand here to pronounce you a liar. This is not a better Ghana, but a bitter Ghana.
I am sure the President can afford to drive a nice car, have three square meals per day, and even fly outside Ghana to South Africa to seek medical attention if he needs one, so the question we are asking you President Mahama, with all this diminishing returns for us, how do you expect us to feed our families?
May an arm robbery at the presidency is the only left for most of us.
What a pity.
