I agree that the man has defaulted on a loan, I also agree that he should have handled his financial matters more efficiently, but based on the evidence presented, I cannot call this man a criminal, he merely defaulted on a loan which many of us are guilty of at times.

I neither support NDC nor NPP, I'm just calling this one as I see it.

Your posting implies that Ghana should resign as a country because Ghana also owes a lot. It is not a crime to owe. His only mistake is delaying the repayment. The law has taken its course and that should be it.

This new NDC MP borrowed money to run for his election. Much of the money was unwantomly given as bribes to influence, the outcome. He won and deliberately refused to pay the money back. Once, such people are power, they think that they are untouchable. If they head ministeries and government entities, they mismanaged them. This have been our woes. It is a crime for not paying up money borrowed. It is stealing. Oh STEALERS!
