Do you understand the implication of not having a short term solution whiles working on the long term behind the scenes?

You think investors are going to come and invest or wait for us to find a long term solution to this water and power challenges?

The bottom line is whether short term or long term, they will still lie to us. Remember this power situation was supposed to have been over by November last year as we were told by no other person than the man who holds the highest office in the land?

When are we going to learn that the current people in power have not got a clue. We waited for 4 years for the late president to work his magic, it did not materialise, the people in power now are the same people who were advising the late president four years ago. How do you expect them to do anything different?

It is going to be a long and painful journey to 2016. I wish them well but i have no confidence in this current crop of leaders. They are clueless and they have proved it over and over again but yet we keep believing and hoping for a miracle from them.

Everyone doubted David but he killed Goliath.

Many examples abound in history and morals, even in engineering and economics. Solutions to BIG problems are usually small things.

Imagine how a piece of wood is used to chock a 40 ton articulator.

Those who see the power too big for small efforts are themselves small minds.

We Ghanaians outside see this budget very disappointing. The problems that Ghanaians facing now are hydro, water, gas and debt. We need to fix these first, before we think about other laundry list. We also need to deal with our fiscal discipline, proper accountability and above all institutional corruption. If we do otherwise, then the country will continue to go from bad to worse. Finally, Nobody is willing to help us until, we help ourselves first.
