    "Transportation is development" this is what we learn as children. The government under Jerry Rawlings brought transportation to its knees. Accra has blotted and there is no respite in sight.

    Railways are safer than automobiles. If we are serious about safe transportation, then we should not give up on our rail systems. It would in some way, alleviate some of the problems caused by our dangerous motorways.
