Inexplicable? When you import cheap cables from China and get uneducated and untrained 8th graders to work as electricians what must you expect. Your president is waiting to put up buildings before he starts to educate people. Hmm, we are waiting, you voted for him.
In some places, you don't only go to school to be an electrician, you also have to be certified. The fires can be explained: cheap electrical cables and untrained, uncertified electricians.
Make use of the technical schools.

That is why you should plan before you build a city. The Ultimate Zongo development was realized with Nima. And instead of razing it down, you keep building; filling every square inch with sub human buildings. KEEP LIVING IN CROWDED FILTH AND STENCH AND HOPE THAT ALLAH WILL SOMEHOW COME TO GET YOU OUT BECAUSE YOU WASH TEN TIMES A DAY!!!

How on earth can you repair a gas cylinder?. More baffling is how can you detect gas leaks with a flame. The repairer has severe learning disability. Ghana has a long way to go in terms of health and safety.
