  What has his private affairs got to do with the image of the GFA. The GFA is desperate to cover up for him. The serious allegation which the GFA must answer is; did Paintsil pimp prostitutes for the team in South Africa. Why isn't the GFA responding to that allegation? It is obvious regardless of the outcome of this case, that Paintsil is not a role model for our youngsters and he must be jettisoned from the national side.

  They have no clue in solving problems which has become a serious national problem. They always look cheap way to promote themselves while in the guise of pumping their egos The GFA has failed, like other state organs, and what they would like to do is to win the full backing of the playing body in order to stay iin office. Very soon we shall find the playing body dictating to the GFA as to how to run the organization.

  Much as I believe individuals' personal and family problems should be left to them, I simply cannot understand why the Ghana Football Association had to get involved in bailing the individual who After all is accused of a serious domestic violence. Whatever the merits or demerits of the case, I do not accept that the GFA should have been involved at all in any way. After all, this individual was in his own home and not under the care of the GFA. What is so special about him? In my opinion any man cowardly enough to engage in a 'fight' with a woman should not be supported in this way.

  The little boy says, "Dark in here."
  The man says, "Yes, it is."
  Boy - "I have a soccer ball."
  Man - "That's nice."
  Boy - "Want to buy it?"
  Man - "No, thanks."
  Boy - "My dad's outside."
  Man - "OK, how much?"
  Boy - "250 Cedis"
  
  In the next few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the lover are
  in the closet together.
  
  Boy - "Dark in here."
  
  
  Man - "Yes, it is."
  Boy - "I have a goal keeper soccer glove."
  The lover remembering the last time, asks the boy, "How much?"
  Boy - "750 Cedis"
  Man - "Fine."
  
  A few days later, the father says to the boy, "Grab your glove, let's
  go outside and have a catch." The boy says, "I can't, I sold my
  soccer ball and my glove." The father asks, "How much did you sell them for?"
  Boy - 1,000 Cedis
  The father says, "That's terrible to overcharge your friends like
  that, that is way more than those two things cost. I'm going to take
  you to church and make you confess."
  They go to the church and the father makes the little boy sit in the
  confession booth and he closes the door.
  
  The boy says, "Dark in here."
  
  The priest says, "Don't start that nonsense here again.
  
  
  GFA is now like the cheating man.

Apparently Paintsil himself has confessed that "there was a scuffle with his wife", trying to put a gloss over something so serious. Surely, if it were "just a scuffle", the police would not have arrested and detained the irate footballer, nor would his wife have had to spend some time in a hospital clinic!!! Clearly the guy has shown no remorse and far from what he is saying, this is a violent man and frankly if as it appears, he gets away with this, I guarantee you he will do it again. And who is to say that this was the first time anyway?

  How does the crime or offense of an athelete tarnishes the image of a nation? Ghanaian officials are full of stupid views of kata so kata so. The best thing for GFA to do is stay quite in public and render whatever support it has for the player behind the scenes. The is typical family case evolving around violence and crime and the police must be allowed to do its work. Having made this assertion, it does not surprise me that some people at the GFA are publicly meddling themselves in this matter becasue Ghanaian officials pride themselves in shelving the truth while polishing lies and cover-ups.

The English FA did not defend Terry when he slept with a colleagues girl. And did the FA meddle in the Giggs case? Lousy busy body GFA. Focus on the World cup qualifier. Will the GFA have meddled in this case if it had taken place in Israel where Paintsil lives and works?
