"Ever since I was elected to become a leader in parliament, I can boldly tell you that I have always abhorred the use of placards in settling a matter" says the Minority Leader.
So, Mr. Minority Leader, with all due respect, WHY NOW?
Must you ALL go down with your defeated Presidential Candidate? You may say NO, but that is exactly what is going on.
Even the RESPECTED Pianim from your side of Town and from the bleechers on your side of the aisle sees it that way.
If I were a justice of the Supreme Court I will have the NPP matter (or is it Akufo Addo et al Matter as we are hearing from some NPP big wigs?) thrown out. You CANNOT invoke the Jurisdiction of the Highest Court in the Land and be MISCONDUCTING yourselves and LITIGATING that same matter in the streets and on radio waves.
All you are trying to do is to sway Public Opinion and Prejudice the outcome.
It is no different from Peddling Falsehood so frequently with the hope that some would start believing it.
You cannot prejudice the process and expect it to see things your way. For, what if the Supreme Court does NOT see it the NPP way? After all, the NPP did not see it the Afari Djan way only because they lost.
If they had won, Afari Djan would continue to be the Greatest as he was in 2000 and 2004.
Please, as with All Democracies, you have the right to go down with your defeated candidate BUT don't take Ghana with you.

There's an ever widening gulf of difference between NDC and NPP pols and it goes without saying that as the leaders so are their followers. Hon Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, the minority leader in parliament is a top-notcher who has elevated fourth republic politics to an unprecedented high. In the midst of the grossly polarised political climate of today it takes a profundity of moral character to admit the minority group erred in flashing the "stealers" signs. To err is human but how many times in our political history have you heard any politician/s admit wrongdoing in anything? Just cite one example from the NDC side of the political aisle. The statement by Hon Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu was without subtlety; just blunt talking and straight shooting but the nay-saying NDC crowd are growling and snarling. Hope the NDC can learn something from Hon Osei-Kyei Mensah-Bonsu .

It is not good enough to go on a radio station to try to justify the unjustifiable. The NPP leadership and parliamentarians should be apologizing to the nation in an official statement, just as it has been busy holding press conferences on the issue of their petition! What has the minority leader's discussion with the majority leader about their intentions got to do with anything? I would boo if I were in parliament and you sated only a day before, that you will attend the State of the Nation Address and then at the last minute chose en masse to leave the chambers when the president is about to deliver his address? That is not only rude and offensive but unbecoming a parliamentarian.
There was a case of a congressman, Joseph Wilson in the US Congress who tried such a stunt in 2010 against president Barack Obama and was sanctioned heavily. He had to personally apologize to the president for his stupid action in the chambers.
It is also quite silly of the MPs after boycotting the president's speech, then to reappear to enjoy the food and drinks after the event. This is just so cheap and so base, they don't deserve to represent their constituents. MPs of any political persuasion must know that it is the electorate, not their party that sent them there to represent them and actions such as are currently going on, are not serving those very constituents but themselves and their party leadership which is the worst that I can ever recall in the nation's history. They must apologize officially to Ghanaians about their actions and insulting the office of the president which after all, is what they themselves are now fighting for. How ironic!

The NPP party leading Executive members should know by now that since the December, 12 Presidential/Parliamentary Elections, their overt and couvert infantile behaviour has greatly destroyed their image in the eyes of Political players all over the world. The NPP party National executive and Elders have virtually lost control of thr party's administration to criminally-minded infantile youngmen led by the selfish, arrogant and proud Nana Osama Bin Laden Addo Danwka and his "Akyem Mafia" shameless gang bent on destroying the party. I am prophesising that sooner or later the over ambitious and selfish "Akyem Mafia" wii oust from the NPP party and formed their own party.

Now we put into the house individuals, well educated but without morals who are no different from common rogues so what do you expect? If you sleep with dogs you should expect infestation of fleas.Or as my friend will put it bluntly, if you enter the chicken coop, you will definitely step into chicken shit.
