The prosecution or the court can still press charges if it has witnesses who have first hand knowledge of Paintsil assaulting the wife. With a good Doctors report and eyewitnesses account, the prosecution can get a conviction but it will be a difficult case to prosecute where the victim can be called into the witness box by the Defense Counsel to defend the husband.

These women depend on their husbands finances and therefore in most cases not financially independent to make the right decisions for themselves.

DD, USA, what you've written here is not cool, especially coming from the USA, where women are more respected.

And those assaulted, almost invariably don't expose their attackers, in what has come to be referred to as Stockholm Syndrome or its variant the Lima Syndrome. Please Google these two syndromes and read about them and compare them to what to me is nothing but "Richlove Syndrome", protecting your attacker, who happened to be the father of the victim's children.

What a shame oh GFA! How can just a common spectator CONTINUOUSLY creates PROBLEMS upon problems for the Black Star players Ghana FA is not doing absolutely NOTHING to STOP this GREEDY guy and his SELFISH character imposed on the Ghanaian Players which allows him (APPIAH STADIUM) to make money from the PLAYERS.

Those players who disagrees to his DEMANDS for money from them the players suffers an UGLY RUMOR against them. These kind of thing has happened OVER and OVER to some of the players, those who refused to give this guy APPIAH STADIUM money.
And he has master minded everything in such a way that the media always pick on the FALSE RUMOR and make it WORST for that PARTICULAR player in rumor.
Again, and when it happens the FA does NOTHING to protect that particular player? How?

First, the FA should put a stop on the RUMOR by clearing the air, ARRESTING the PEPPER-TRAITOR for assault on deformation and then make their investigations on the issue.

This same guy did cause problems for Asamoah Gyan and nothing was done. The same guy because of money is spoiling the image of a well known player of the Stars, and the FA did not stop or arrest the guy but allowed the rumor to spread to deform the fame of this Player Painstill.

Wow! what a shame. who would ever like to play again for Ghana? If the FA can not protect it's members very well, but behaving in the sense that each one for himself and there is NO UNITY at all.

GFA need to be restructured with the more KNOW-HOW people. There are too much pain in the old players about the worst things that the FA did to them and are still DOING to this modern players.

I wish the President Mr. Mahama is reading what I wrote to make those changes as soon as possible for Ghana to start winning trophies like the 50s 60s and the 70s again.

Make your Players feel very well protected and they will do anything extremely excellent enough for their country to bring fame upon fame in competitions.
