GO OUT THERE AND RECEIVE YOUR REWARD, ALL GHANAIANS. GO AND PAY THE PRICE FOR YOUR FOOLISHNESS. YOU DON'T GIVE A SECOND MANDATE TO AN INCOMPETENT AND CORRUPT GOVERNMENT, NO!! NOT AT ALL, THAT IS ABOMINATION IN DEMOCRACY, VERY SUICIDAL. HAD NDC MANAGED THE ECONOMY WELL, THESE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE SITUATION. NDC HAS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES GHANA HAS EVER HAD. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED MORE LOANS THAN ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT IN OUR HISTORY, BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS. GHANAIANS SHOULD HAVE ENJOYED SOME ECONOMIC PROGRESS AT THIS TIME IN OUR HISTORY. THE ECONOMY IS COLLAPSING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS SO CORRUPT. TO RESCUE THE SITUATION, THE POOR IS NOW BEING FORCED TO PAY. THIS IS INJUSTICE. THIS IS NOT THE GHANA KUFFOUR HANDED OVER TO NDC, HE EVEN ADDED FRESH CRUDE OIL WELLS. NPP TRANFORMED GHANA TO A MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMY WITH LIMITED RESOURCES BUT GOOD POLICIES. NDC IS WOEFULLY REVERSING THESE NPP ACHIEVEMENTS. GHANA'S CURRENT SITUATION IS VERY DISTURBING. WHEN THE HISTORY IS TOLD, IT WILL BE SAID THAT GHANAIANS WERE OFFERED FREE SECONDARY EDUCATION, IMPROVED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR AND AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY BUT 50% SAID NO THANK YOU. THEY PREFERRED ECONOMIC "WOYOMISATION" , PHANTOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, PHILANDERERS FOR LEADERS, MACHIAVELLIAN DISRESPECTFUL CORRUPT LOUTS AND A VISIONLESS EVIL GOVERNMENT. I AM SO PROUD I VOTED FOR NANA AKUFFO ADDO.

Thank you Sir. I quite remember the NPP government after the consultation in 2007 said they didn't have enough money or the income of the country wasn't much enough so they wanted to wait and implement it to meet productivity. But when these illiterates came to power they think they know too much and so quickly implemented it against the advice of many people. Now they are crying after paying themselves fat salaries. Am really sad for Ghana cos the way the country is being run, we will accumulate a lot of debt that we will have to sell our share of the oil shares to get loan. And if that happen, we are doom forever. I cant believe people voted for NDC. We need to think afar as Ghanaians. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Its the NPP government who took us from a poor country with good policies to a middle income country but now the NDC government are sending us back to a poor country again.

THRE SHOULD BE SERIOUS WAGE RESHUFLE FROM THE PRESIDENT DOWN TO THE LEAST LABOURER. ALL THE UNNECESSARY ALLOWANCES GIVEN TO THE PRESIDENT,MINISTERS, CEOs,MPs, ETE, ETC MUST BE SCRAPPED.
FROM NEXT FOUR YEARS, LET US ELECT INDIVIDUAL GHANAIANS WHO WILL BE WILLING TO SERVE THE NATION SALARY FREE IN PARLIAMENT.ONLY THEN WE WILL SEE THOSE WHO WILL CONTEST TO SERVE GHANA FREE.(PATRITIC GHANAIANS HOME AND ABROAD, ESPECIALLY RETIREES),THE INTELLIGENTIA,AND GOOD GHANAIANS VOLUNTEER TO SERVE IN OUR PARLIAMENT SALARY FREE TO SAVE THE NATION IS A VERY GOOD IDEA. IF THIS IS INSTITUTED, WE SHALL SEE THOSE WHO WOULD CONTEST FOR SEATS IN PARLIAMENT IN A NATION WHERE POLITICS IS THE SHORTEST WAY TO BECOME RICH. THIS WILL ALSO REDUCE TRIBALISM,NEPOTISM,CORRUPTION,FRAUD IN ELECTIONS AS WELL AS THE NEGETIVE ASPECTS OF ELECTIONS IN OUR SOCIETY. LOOK MAYOR BLOOMBERG HAS SERVED NEW YORK CITY FOR !2 YEARS EARNING $!:00 A MONTH. WE CAN GET 100s OF ABLE GHANAIANS TO DO SO IF THEY ARE GIVEN THE CHANCE.YES THOUSANDS ARE THERE WAITING. PEOPLE, GIVE THOUGHT TO THIS MY SUGGESTION, LET GHANA BE THE !st TO INTRODUCE VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE IN OUR PARLIAMENT. MAY GOD BLESS GHANA. MAGDUKES. NY

And for your information. If you want a poor Ghana, look back at 1981 when PNDC/NDC took over with 100% inflation and negative growth rate, famine and scarcity of food, massive underdevelopment with only 25% of the whole nation connected to electricity.
NDC hailed us from such difficult times to 2000 (which u will remember). U SHOULD ASK YOURSELF WHY RAWLINGS WON 9 OUT OF 10 REGIONS IN 1992 AND 1996 ELECTIONS. He made standards of living better and NO ACHIEVEMENT OF THE NPP CAN EVER SURMOUNT IT. I wonder what Kuffour would have done in 8 years if he iinherited the post-Nkrumah mess PNDC /NDC inhertited.

Really King Solomon, For 20yrs of P(NDC)? Come on mate look at the state of our economy now even as prices of Gold, crude oil and other minerals are high at the world market. You see, some of u guys don't see beyond the present.Look at our national debt. Only four years of NDC, over 20 billion Dollars when it was only 9 billion Dollars. I don't hate them, never, but I think they have to use our money wisely and efficiently than what they are doing now.Yes Kuffour did sign that into law, but that doesn't mean one must be stupid enough to implement it immediately even if u don't have the resources or the means. This is pure stupidity and cheap politics. Now Ofosu Ampofo is blaming the consultants recommendations not good enough. what prevented them from carrying further consultation if the old one was not good enough. Hm they are jokers. They take us for a fool. The worst thing is when one wants to pull a fast one on you, thinking Ghanaians are fool and will take any stupid and hollow excuses. We are all in it. If it is good, it is good for all of us and if it bad, ah well. Anyway I pray that they will be able to solve the 60% use of Ghana's income on salary. Hmmmmmmm. One man of God, Pat Robertson, said it is always good to listen, even to your enemy cos you can get a clue from him. If every advice given to the government makes one their enemy, then they are going to really struggle, which they are in now. God Bless Ghana and you King Solomon.

Dr. Communications Minister: Is It Not Too Late in the Day to be talking like that?
The NDC has substantially supervised the implementation of the SSSS. If the NDC had reservations, as the Hon. Minister wants to point out, it still does not vitiate IMANI's position, particularly, when the NDC only saw the Political Capital that could accrue from promising the Ghanaian people full implementation of SSSS.
In fact, it is dangerous and politically unwise for this to be said about the SSSS. What ought to be said is the apparent lack of resources to meet the obligation of an otherwise done deal.
SSSS is here to stay. What Govt. needs to concentrate its efforts on is to work to increase its revenue so as to be able to meet its obligations including the SSSS as they fall due.

The remunerations of the executive and legislature does not help to steady the clamour for improved wages. No where in the developed countries does the MONTHLY salary of an MP/congressman exceed 90 percentile ANNUAL salary of workers. In the US the salary of congressmen is about 4 X the median income. So long as this disparity exists, so long will Ghanaians press on for fairness.
