The NDC would have to explain to Ghanaians how a dead man came to author and sign a letter!
The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”
The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?
The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. I am alive and awake in the Lord. Ghana will not die; Ghana will live to declare the works of the Lord. As I rest in perfect peace in the celestial realms with my maker, I pledge to always uphold and defend the good name of Ghana. Remember the Lord in all your ways and He will protect you. Stay well my brothers and sisters, I will always be with you. Signed (with actual signature) John Evans Atta Mills...

What are your expectations? There should be heaps of promises that would never be fulfilled. This address issues out of the tradition, and rhetoric is for the weak-minded. We want the practicability of ideas. Not economic diatribes that heap a lot of sermon on every trivia but without anything of consequence.
The last time I found out, NPP still cringes to its baby-pet, that of pursuing EC and Mahama in court. Please allow the man to breathe. You still can't recognize he can't have enough margin for manoeuvres the more NPP stays in court?
In any case the country is falling flat because we are all crooks, thieves, lazy citizens who believe ceiling-high corruption is the only way to get going.

If not drugs, how can a sane person admire the buttocks of a dead woman instead of paying a tribute? Moreover, will a normal person declare "all-die-be-die"?

GO OUT THERE AND RECEIVE YOUR REWARD, ALL GHANAIANS. GO AND PAY THE PRICE FOR YOUR FOOLISHNESS. YOU DON'T GIVE A SECOND MANDATE TO AN INCOMPETENT AND CORRUPT GOVERNMENT, NO!! NOT AT ALL, THAT IS ABOMINATION IN DEMOCRACY, VERY SUICIDAL. HAD NDC MANAGED THE ECONOMY WELL, THESE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE SITUATION. NDC HAS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES GHANA HAS EVER HAD. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED MORE LOANS THAN ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT IN OUR HISTORY, BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS. GHANAIANS SHOULD HAVE ENJOYED SOME ECONOMIC PROGRESS AT THIS TIME IN OUR HISTORY. THE ECONOMY IS COLLAPSING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS SO CORRUPT. TO RESCUE THE SITUATION, THE POOR IS NOW BEING FORCED TO PAY. THIS IS INJUSTICE. THIS IS NOT THE GHANA KUFFOUR HANDED OVER TO NDC, HE EVEN ADDED FRESH CRUDE OIL WELLS. NPP TRANFORMED GHANA TO A MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMY WITH LIMITED RESOURCES BUT GOOD POLICIES. NDC IS WOEFULLY REVERSING THESE NPP ACHIEVEMENTS. GHANA'S CURRENT SITUATION IS VERY DISTURBING. WHEN THE HISTORY IS TOLD, IT WILL BE SAID THAT GHANAIANS WERE OFFERED FREE SECONDARY EDUCATION, IMPROVED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR AND AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY BUT 50% SAID NO THANK YOU. THEY PREFERRED ECONOMIC "WOYOMISATION" , PHANTOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, PHILANDERERS FOR LEADERS, MACHIAVELLIAN DISRESPECTFUL CORRUPT LOUTS AND A VISIONLESS EVIL GOVERNMENT. I AM SO PROUD I VOTED FOR NANA AKUFFO ADDO.

" Thank you Mr. President for the promises you have mentioned unto the people of Ghana without a clear definition of how you will achieve any of them. Thank you for your ability to use mere words of mouth to construct a suitable road network without mentioning the road connecting Tarkwa and Kumasi (the worst road in the country). We thank you HE for covering all aspects of the field without any referee, I guess you didn't want to commit. It was a state of the nation address which was suppose to inform Ghanaians and the world at large about the current position of the standard of living of the people of Ghana and the way forward rather, we ended up in a long train of endless and sugarcoated promises that will carry everybody along. Thank you anyway for making us feel "happy and funny within" even though we all know that these words have been repeated from generation to generations without their implementation. You are indeed an "elected president" no doubt, just that we making provisions for the doubting Thomas (s). Anyway I must say that you did your best to memorize such a lengthy speech but I think it would have served us all good if you had used those millions of minutes to write more about the poor standard of living and the way forward as compared to the solutions the Americans,British and the Germans used in solving the same problem we suffer now, because they all were developing countries with no more resources than Ghana's. There was no part of your speech which stated how you would utilize any of Ghana's natural resource to help better the lives of Ghanaians.
Mr President God bless you anyway, May you live long to rule this nation in the direction of the Lord. Amen.

The message sounded very convincing, actually, impressive. It will make a very nice “story book”. I can imagine the pain and anger of those contesting the results of the elections. I wish them better luck next time. You could tell their frustrations as they walked out and brooded in ENVY of the Elected President of the Republic of Ghana (HE JDM). “The future us here, the future is ours… wow, great statement”. His Excellency, I have a few questions about those big promises and projects mentioned:
(1) How quick will you revive the dying health sector?
(2) How soon are ALL those promises going to be fulfilled?
(3) Does the government and Ghana have the commitment and the zeal to finish those projects IF they are EVER started?
(4) In case they lose the next elections, are those realistic enough for the next party to continue?
(5) Who will be in charge of the projects? Technically knowledgeable staff or dumb politicians who are only there to amass wealth?
(6) On the issue of invasion of those illegal “rats” in our country who are committing all sorts of crimes, I think you have relaxed so when are you going to act on it? Pedophiles from the EU, drug lords and money launderers from the Americas, barbaric Ecowas nationals including Nigerian 419 and armed robbers , and Multi-criminal Chinese etc...
The best way to get the people working is to cut down on the number of committee meetings and get them to work. Also, sitting allowances should be discouraged in order to discourage unnecessary meetings and committees. This will cut down on the bureaucratic NONSENSE in the public sector.
