Is it true that the National Executive of the NPP directed its MPs not to attend the State of the Nation's address and the Parliamentary Group decided otherwise? That would be serious because though it is the right decision to attend, it opens a gap between the MPs and the party leadership. That is not good for party unity. I know the MPs have bowed to public opinion to attend against the decision of the party National Executive. I hope NDC does not make political capital out of this. I hope they do attend because it should have no implications on the petition before the Supreme Court. It's a good decision for the party, democracy and Ghana as a whole.

- NPP Akyem members see themselves as of a fantasy "Akan" tribe (Asantes are not part of this imaginary "Akan" nonsense) became cowards, without Asantes, to carry out their threat to massacre the Fantes, the Gas and the Ewes ("all die be die") for not voting for NPP Akyem Akufo Ado
- entire Ghana went into Election to have President Mahama; yet, NPP led Akyem loud mouthed Akufo Ado say they have carried out their own research into the Election to discover that the votes were fraudulent; they have therefore petitioned the Supreme Court to have drunken Judges to have Mahama stood down for Akufo Ado to be President
- each MP, whether Independent, or in Opposition or in Government is an MP for the whole Ghana and not only for the constituency; yet
- the NPP MPs are showing their silly nature of not having anything to do with Parliament; childishly waiting to have Akufo Ado Government; which will never ever happen
- not attending Parliament, these NPP MPs must be hit hard where it hurts most, with immediate effect; and it is with money in their pockets; they shouldn't be paid

Democracy is alien to the NPP.The NPP are feudist parading as democrats. This Mate Mehu off shoot NPP party is full of sickening hypocrisy. Their left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. It is a lawless criminal group whose name changes in every era (NLM/UP/PP/PFP and now NPP). The NPP think they can cherry pick and lay down the law as they wish. It isn't that easy otherwise beggars would be the best jockeys. This continues primitive behaviour of the NPP is not acceptable in any civilized society. The good people of Ghana must call them to order. MPs swear oath to serve Ghana not party or any group.
"Law is a form of order, and good law must necessarily mean good order" Aristotle
It is high time the Mate Mehu NPP traitors and nation wreckers realized their unpardonable mistakes and render unqualified apology to all Ghanaians for the part they played in the 1966 coup which left this dear and beautiful nation of ours in tatters for close to 50 years. Ghana is still not out of the woods due the 1966 coup. Have this intransigence, incurable, dyed-in the-wool, nation wreckers ever thought of helping/acceleration the progress Ghana instead of always applying the brakes all the time? What if their forebears had cooperated and collaborated with Kwame Nkrumah to help catapult Ghana to the industrial age like our peers Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, etc; Ever thought of that? The Mate Mehu penchant for scapegoating, paranoia and fetish suspicion of everything that does not go their way is sickening and self-inflicted prolonged agony. The NPP must put a stop to their credo; EITHER OUR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. GHANA FIRST.
Nkrumah lives! We still face forward. Long live Maame/Daavi Ghana in economic freedom and social justice.

In deed, their presence rather always ignite rowdyism, confusion and strife. Just cast your mind back to how rowdy they have always been when it is not their leader who stands at the podium.
You will remember how peaceful and orderly the president´s inauguration was when they were absent. Notice also how orderly and successful the appointments committee has so far been conducted without them.
Indeed, Ghana would have been much better of without this party called NPP.
Why can´t they perpetually excuse themselves from all important national programmes for perfect peace to prevail in our country?

The NPP leadership lacked foresight to understand the implication of their decision to boycott everything involving President Mahama.
The President’s swearing-in ceremony was a constitutional requirement for him to start his 4-year mandate. Even the Supreme Court Judges who are hearing NPP's petition were fully represented but the NPP defied the constitution and boycotted it.
Then come the vetting of the President's ministerial nominees which was another constitutional requirement for the President to assemble his team to assist him in his mandate. The NPP again boycotted.
Now it's time for the State of the Nation Address before Parliament, another constitutional duty. Thank God NPP MPs are now seeing the light to make them defy Akufo Addo and co.
It's good to take a matter to court for resolution - that is legal. But to take the law into your own hands to resolve what you have already sent before a court is simply, lawlessness. What the NPP must know is that, while the case is being resolved in the court, Ghana still has to move on. Institutions of state must function. I don't think NPP wants the country to grind to a halt just because Akufo Addo failed to become president.
After all, it was in the same manner that the NPP MP’s were declared winners by the EC that President Mahama was also declared. Whatever description fits President Mahama concerning the 2012 polls, fits the NPP MPs also.

Now they are going to attend President Mahama's State of the Nation's address. Are they not guided by principle again? I find their principle too crude and crooked for my understanding.
They are attending the Nation's Address because their constituents have began to complain about their behaviour. Four years will come and all of us will see what will happen to them in this Ghana. They claim Ghanaians have short memories. Let those of them misbehaving now take caution from those of them wasting their time in the courts protesting against the Parliamentary elections because they were rejected by the people. This is the right thing to do and the NPP MPs and leadership must be applauded for doing the right thing. There is no need for name-calling.
I believe when people decide to do what is in the best interests of the nation, we must all support and give credit where it is due. It is shameful and immature for anyone from the NDC to make mockery or try to milk the situation. This decision is good for Ghana's democracy. Well done NPP and let's hope you will continue to play your rightful role in holding government to account whatever the outcome of the Sc case.

Money Swine! Who say money no sweet?
Ghc50,000 for each of the NPP MPs is doing the trick. Ghana Parliament is a chop-chop place. If doubt me, ask BABASU P.C Appiah Ofori. If John Mahama can dole out Ghc50,000 for only accommodation then as we say in Ghana COMING EVENTS CAST THEIR SHADOWS! So the hungry and confused NNP MPs are turning their backs on poor Nana Addo, listless Dr, Bawumiah and semi-literate Jake. So the minority will go shout-shout John Mahama in parliament, grant stupid and foolish interviews and at the end of the day they will go home with Ghc50,000 in their pockets while while both the NPP's and NDC'S foot soldiers will get Ghc1.00 for their pockets. That is democracy for you and if still don't understand please go ask the Baba, Fela of Nigeria either in heaven or hell.
