i never konw that FAANAA is a forgeting land when iwas growing around old Danosman going to what in now called AGEGE women from FAANAA alawys bring fish from FAANAA and sell it to my mother my mother alawys have a name for them and she speaks some hausa mix with twi and fanti with while bargin for the price they alawys greet her saying deleyayi and before they leaves she gives them some our her old cloths and our old clothes mostly they comes every month

I have been there at least 20 times - when I was a young boy in Accra - in the company of some Ga boys whose village is that place.

Faa Naa is a Ga community. It has been in existence for over 100 years. When I was growing up as a Child, my grandmother who came from Ga to marry my grand father brought along with her nieces and nephews and one of them has been named after Faa Naa. It is now the duty of the authorities to do well and bring development to this age old community.

Kropp Dakubu) such as Sakumo etc. During the plague epidemic 1907/08 "Kuao, the brother of Chief Tago of Labadi, was a medicine man and had been to Fannah ... to treat some of the cases". Faa Naa is a small island in the Greater Accra region. If you don’t know Faa Naa just say you don’t know but don’t say it’s an imagination of a journalist. I am a GA and I know Faa Naa very well because my grandmother goes there to trade. If you have not heard of Faa Naa then you are definitely not a GA. They are not selling their land.

While growing up as a kid in Kokompe, now Kantamanto (Kantamanto Mkt was only part of Kokompe), I used to visit Faa-Naa with the Gas (Nablah, Okoe, Laryea ..) in whose we lived.

While growing up as a kid in Kokompe, now Kantamanto (Kantamanto Mkt was only part of Kokompe), I used to visit Faa-Naa with the Gas (Nablah, Okoe, Laryea ..) in whose we lived.

Wetook tro-tro to Mamprobi and then did the rest on foot - cant remeber how many kilometers, perhaps 6 or 10!
At Faa-Naa, we would paddle boats, swim in the lakes; eat fish, fish and more fish and bring a lot back home.

May God Help Gas - They were such a very good and nice people to us. Good that I kept contact to some of them.
