How can we get these experienced players who cannot be managed by the FA?Is it not a shame that our players cannot feature for the Black Stars continuously for at least 8yrs?I fear for the 2014 World Cup Qualifier.

Asamoah Gyan's been in the team for atleast 10 years. I think he made his debut in 2003 against Somalia.

The problem with our national team is that since we groom our players through the under 17 system,(which is flawed due to the use of over-aged players, that are selected into the team based on their diminutive sizes, in an effort to fool FIFA) we will continue to see the current failures as we witnessed in AFCON 2013. The only way to fix this issue is to stop cheating because we are only fooling ourselves and no one else. These ‘small old men’ will make it into the black stars due to the fact that as a result of their exposure to superior training facilities and instruction in Europe, they become better than the local chaps. Could you imagine what our standards would have been if had not embarked on this stupid ‘under 17 cheating program’? Most of the chaps you watched playing at AFCON 2013 could not have robbed shoulders with the likes of Abdul Razak, Polo, Adolf Armah, Emmanuel Quarshie, Dan Owusu, Isaac Acquaye, and the list goes on …. to mention a few of the real football players I was privileged to watch.

Mr Aziz I appreciate your suggestion that Ghana Should include some of the old and experienced players in the Black stars team to qualify for the World cup in Brazil 2014, but I disagree with your suggestion that the Black Stars did well.Let us call a spade a spade but not a shovel.We were lucky we did not meet the green supper Eagles thanks to the earlier elemination of the Black stars by the stalions of Bokinafasso,otherwise the Nigerians would have devastated the Ghanaian team to the point of no return.

Why can't we ask ourselves why all our experienced and active players still play for their clubs but for some reason are not playing for Ghana? Is it because of poor management, or partly due to unforeseen injuries that Ghana cannot have access to its experienced players or is it because of FATE'S secret recipe to allow Ghana to discover new players. Whatever the case we know for a fact that Ivory Coast, Togo, Mali and to some extent Nigeria have some of their experienced stars in charge of their teams. Aziz's comment that "the coach is okay" is not a compliment of AA. Look up the meaning of "OKAY" and you will understand when you say a teacher is "okay". It means the teacher or coach is acceptable within the profession. Most of the coaches at AFCON are okay coaches. Most Ghanaians are looking for an EXCEPTIONAL COACH. Exceptional coaches build their reputations around SIGNIFICANT accomplishments or resumes. For example at the moment Keshi is in the threshold of becoming an exceptional coach if he is able to add one more milestone to his recent AFCON 2013 accomplishment. Assuming Keshi takes Nigeria to the semi finals in the WC 2014 he will be crowned as "EXCEPTIONAL" and not an "OKAY" coach. Renard, Zambia's coach knows that his reputation is 'shaky' at the moment because he was not able to get Zambia beyond the group stages this time round. Do you guys know what his next PLAN is? He will try whatever it takes to BEAT Ghana in the WC qualifier in order to reclaim his tarnished image. I do not want to watch that match!!!

Good opinion and this is what prove Appiah as an inexperience coach to handle Black Star. Steve Appiah will do this job far better.
