Thanks bro. It is the truth which must matter to Ghanaians and not partisanship. If it's true the election was rigged, the SC must ensure justice. On the other hand, if the NPP fails to prove their case, they must be shamed.

Don't get it wrong. The EC is double counting the 256 who returned from abroad to register in Ghana. If they registered in Ghana and are included in the figure for voters who registered in the country, how does the EC count t ...

Becos those 256 were not able to register in Ghana since they were in abroad. At the time of registration, they were in abroad. The total i still 705. How many of them voted should be the concern.

Nonsense or not, may I remind you that Ghana should not be allowed to be dragged into chaos or war by anyone who uses their office to steal or manipulate election to favor any political party.

If you do not want to find the truth, then I am afraid you are not being a smart Ghanaian. Because, I will hate NPP, PPP or any other to steal election. If NPP fails to prove their case then that would also prove NPP to be unjust to political peaceful process. That is that fact so grow up and let the process take it's coarse. The truth must be told to the world. Stolen verdict would protect our democracy. Shame to NPP if they fail to prove their case and drag the nation through unjust litigation. You are missing a point, the Minister was making a point on a radio or TV show, therefore they have every right to elaborate on his case which seemed to annoy you.

You are playing ignorant to the situation. Compare your football team being awarded a goal scored by an opponent's hand. To you, because your team has been awarded a goal whether the goal is legit or not you don't care. As long as the referee awards the goal all other complaints is noise and deafening to your ears.

Here is a matter of building a nation Ghana. And the election "may", I repeat "may" have been rigged by the other. You seem to be bothered by all the complains surmounting. The fact is that Ghanaians should not allow anyone to steal election against the will of the people. And if NPP cries wolf while there is no wolf, then the future would determine NPP's place in the legitimate hearts of the people.
Choosing a wrong leader (President)or representatives (MP's) would result in nation economical wreck. Unless you do not care about our Nation Ghana. I see too many incapable MP's and even President making foolish public statements. Do you worry what that means to the good of our Nation?

In my intellectual mind, people who vote to elect leaders based on the principle of tribal affiliation are illiterates who cannot read to understand facts findings for themselves; and primitives who do not know any better than to dwell on a tribal folk who cannot do any good to better their future. It is pathetic to me that the entire Volta Region always vote for one single party. It tells me that all those Voltarians' do not read or consider nothing besides tribal affiliation. All other regions in Ghana do have mix of other political party representation. That, to me is the true representation of knowledge and wisdom rather than voting on the merit of tribal affiliation alone.

Now the question is this, is voting by the principle of tribe helpful to our nation building or that is an indication of some Ghanaians living in the dark ages.

An Ewe gentleman who worked for me once told me that "the elders asked us to vote for an Ewe" he stated a question I posed. This is a guy who I paid ten Cedis for a day's work. I told him to vote with his brain next time for a politician who can change his life for better. So that he can afford food delivered on a plate rather than food wrapped in a black plastic; and be able to take care of his family instead of voting for a tribal member who only come to enrich himself and ignore the rest of the people.

To finalize brother Kpeblo, I hope all the noise making does not become nuisance to your ears. Watch where our Nation economy is going. How much do you pay for your medical needs? Ghanaians are dying from simple health issues. What is the quality of education available for your children? And how much does it cost you? What is the cost of petrol and the trickle down economical effect on our nation? If you will be honest with your self then all the noise from others is a fight against corruption and injustice which is deriding our nation economical and social growth. Allow the MP's to make all the noise, it is the true fabric of democracy. All mindful people should fight against corruption, nothing less that justice. Let the people make noise and the process would tell the truth.

Those figures were massaged by Israeli criminal experts who were hired by the NDC and brought to Ghana. They were fed with the figures by the NDC through a network while the results were being sent to the collation center.

The figure manipulations were done by the EC at the collation centre, not at the polls. They know that nobody can go through the 1000's of lists in a few minutes before they sign the sheets so the agents were rushed to sign for them.

Even figures from the signed sheets were also manipulated by the EC. This is why they can't account for the large surplus votes. They can only win this case with further fraud, such as faking more ghost votes.

I have some few questions and explianations to make clear.

The EC registered 711 Ghanaian diplomat to vote in the 2012 election and not 241,000 votes as put out by the NPP.

In the course of the registration exercise of Ghanaian diplomat the EC never used any overseas address.

Ths EC simply ask the Ghanaian diplomat to provide detials of their ghanaian address,polling station,constituencies and regions in Ghana so that they could vote in Ghana as either voters in person or as proxy voter.

Now the number 241,000 people that the NPP folks believed voted outside the country is simply not true!

However, it is true that the EC has a list of 241,000 voters but they are definitely not voters from abroad and did not vote abroad.

What happen is that after the EC had conducted the registration exercise,it also conducted a mop- up registration to capture Ghanaian left out the first registration.

Those registred during the period include;Ghanaian on peace keeping duties,
students on government schoolarships,
Prisoners who were registed due to supreme court decision and finally the residents of Akuse who were not registed due to supreme court injunction.

This is the 241,000 votes claim by the NPP.

It is very worrying when people try so hard just to find some little piece of needle in a haystack, just to buttress their point and create an impression of 'gross impropriety' on the part of the Electoral Commission or that they are either incompetent or unable to provide accurate figures.

This is now going beyond a genuine desire to seek the truth about the elections and one wonders what the true motive is for the NPP and it's petitioners. When all is said and done, the SC is the only body with the task of sorting out the chaff from the wheat as it were. The rest of us are merely speculators and 'doomsday prophets' and 'opionionists'.

My primary question for Ghanaians who have been following this sad SC case is simply this: yes, the total number of registered voters on the list is important and we need to know how many actually registered e.g. 14 million plus or whatever the figure is. More importantly we want to know of this number, how many actually cast their votes whether in person or by proxy (e.g. Those designated by EC as overseas, including these military personnel who WERE on their tour of duty at the start of the electoral exercise but who may have voted in person, in-country because they returned before election day). Third, we want to know how many voted with and without verification and the circumstances in the latter case and what that means for their vote. I would have thought the latter point is the most important one for the NPP petitioners.

The question then in respect of this, estimated by the NPP petitioners to be around 4 million plus, is whether the SC will declare their votes null and void simply because the biometric machines did not capture them as part of the verification process. If that were to be the case, it would be interesting to see how that affects interpretation of the Ghana constitution on the issue of universal adult suffrage. This should be our collective interest in this case in so far as we all seek to test the workings of our democracy. Anything outside of this, and any sinister political motives on anyone's part should be noted by the electorate and in my view, anything done to either undermine, discredit our country or make government 'unworkable' should be punished by the electorate at the next election whatever the outcome after the SC verdict.

It is also quite shameful for MPs, proxys and others in any party to be making public statements to support their side of the arguments and creating sensationalism in the public gallery when the SC are actively dealing with the case. My advice to the likes of Dr prempeh therefore is to simply shut up and allow the SC justices to do their work. They are not primary school pupils for anyone to teach them arithmetic, least of all a bunch of people who themselves could not add up the figures they were presenting in such a high profile case to the very same court.

This is not just about the EC - it cuts across the broad spectrum of our society and that is why we find ourselves in the kind of "soup" we find ourselves in presently - loadshedding, fuel price increases, no water... what next???
