It is very good that he has apologized. That is just the first phase of the ordeal to rectify the wretched state of affairs of the once great Black Stars.
The next phase is that Appiah must enumerate, for each game, all the coaching errors he has made, as well as the compelling circumstances that led to those errors , if any.
The next phase is that Appiah must provide written solutions to the errors during each game.
Then an independent panel of soccer experts including former great Black Star players must study Appiah's solutions and determine its applicability to the current Black Star fiasco.
Appiah cannot and must not be automatically returned to the coaching job unless a satisfactory recommendation has been presented by the panel of experts. In the meanwhile Dessailly , Osei Kofi, Malik, Mfum, Polo , Abedi Pele, Opoku Nti, and Silas Tetteh should be in charge of the Black Stars. Appiah can be sent to Germany, Spain, or England for a coach re-credentialing course. The Black Stars must be coached by a competent person.

NIGERIA TO WIN AFCON CUP SEVEN TIMES!!!
Nigeria will keep the AFCON Cup for a very very long time before Ghana ever think of smelling it. With or without your 'juju' we shall keep the CUP with the power of Holy Ghost on our side, and Jesus Christ, our "keeper" shall 'KEEP' the AFCON CUP for us, for a very very long time.
(AFCON CUP TO BE JOINED BY "WORLD CUP" very soon). 'Super Eagles' of Nigeria, shall soon become "World Champions" very soon in Jesus mighty name, Amen. (It is settled in heaven). I really mean business, and with very 'POWERFUL PRAYERS' for the 'SUPER EAGLES' of Nigeria, and the real Jesus Christ of Nazareth on our side, VICTORY IS OURS. This is no joke! No weapon, (like 'Ghana JUJU'), fashion against us shall prosper. Ameeeeeeeeeeeeeeen.
Therefore, you Ghana people should stop dreaming of laying your hands on that Cup for a very very LOOOOONG TIME. All of you Naija HATERS can go to HELL.
I AM YOUR NEMESIS.

Sadly my friend Tanga, I'm a patriotic Ghanaian but football is played on the field with a positive approach. Ghana isn't approaching things with a positive or practical approach. For now Nigeria is, and if things continue in Nigeria and Ghana as they are now, Nemesis is right. Nigeria will win as many times over and over again without Ghana smelling it. The fault lies in our organization. That is why so called small countries will ride rough shod over us. If in 2012, Appiah was an assistant and 15 minutes to the end of the game with Zambia we fell behind couldn't equalize and got eliminated, what do you have to say when we met Zambia later in the year and fell behind once more, this time just after 15 minutes? For the remaining minutes he just sat and watched with no counter strategy. And you Tanga are talking about world cup. Let us be honest with ourselves!

I don't care who the coach is? Whether Kwesi Appiah or Abedi Pele. For as long as we keep Asamoah Gyan as our pepertual striker it will always be a dream winning any tournament. We have so many talents to groom quickly. Why is Kwesi Appiah sticking to Gyan as the best striker? I think many Ghanaians see this conspicuous flaw in our Black Stars. We have strong defenders but our forward line, particularly the executioner fails or sometimes "refuses" to do his job.

Try Try Again
by T. H. Palmer
'Tis a lesson you should heed,
If at first you don't succeed,
Try, try again;
Then your courage should appear,
For if you will persevere,
You will conquer, never fear
Try, try again;
Once or twice, though you should fail,
If you would at last prevail,
Try, try again;
If we strive, 'tis no disgrace
Though we do not win the race;
What should you do in the case?
Try, try again
If you find your task is hard,
Time will bring you your reward,
Try, try again
All that other folks can do,
Why, with patience, should not you?
Only keep this rule in view:
Try, try again.

K ALHASSAN, IT IS NOT ABOUT GIVING APPIAH ANOTHER CHANCE. THAT IS WHAT YOU MAFIAS AT GFA ARE TRYING TO FORCE DOWN THE THROAT OF UNSUSPECTING GHANAIANS. PLEASE TELL ME WHICH TEAM IN THE TOURNAMENT LACK THE ENERGY TO PLAY THE WHOLE 90 MINUTE. IN EVERY MATCH, BLACK STAR WAS TIRED AFTER 70 MINUTES OF THE GAME. APPIAH CANNOT SAY THAT HE WAS GIVEN THE JOB, AS A COACH, TO BUILDING A NEW KWESI APPIAH BLACK STAR, BUT RATHER, TO USE WHAT WAS AVAILABLE TO WIN MATCHES OR AT LEAST PLAY GOOD FOOTBALL. GHANA WAS THE ONLY LUCKY TEAM THIS YEAR. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE OFFICIALS WERE IN OUR FAVOUR OR SHALL I SAY WERE BRIBED TO ACT SYMPATHETIC? YET NO GHANAIAN, WAS EVER HAPPY WITH OUR OUTPUT AS A TEAM EVEN AFTER OUR WINS, EXCEPT IN THE LAST MATCH AGAINST MALI WHICH WE IRONICALLY LOSS. SO PLEASE STOP BAGGING. WHO DROPPED ALMOST ALL THE PLAYS USED IN THE QUALIFIER? WHO WENT TO THE TOURNAMENT WITH "100% FIT PLAYERS"? THOSE YOU SAW PLAYING ON THE FIELD FOR BLACK STAR, DID THEY APPEAR 100% FIT TO PLAY IN A TOURNAMENT LIKE THAT? I AM NOT CRYING OVER LOSSES BUT LET US EVALUATE OUR PERFORMANCE RATIONALLY WITHOUT ANY SENTIMENT OF CLUB AFFILIATIONS OR PERSONAL PREJUDICES.

Hello my dear coach, i think you have done your part as a coach, some learn from their mistakes but some dont.The world will be a better place if we all learn from our mistakes and correct them. Nobody enters into such a competition with the aim of losing it. From what i can see is that, you have accepted your errors and that these errors should bring a positive change to the national team in the near future. More grease to your elbows.

That's not true Kwesi. Don't beat yourself too much. You did your best with the material you had. The fact is that you were presented with half-baked over pampered brats whose approach to national assignments are pure lackadaisical. Today’s players are more committed to their clubs than they are to the national cause. The insatiable love of money has reduced the present day Black Stars into “JOKERS” Remember that idiot Prince Boateng; he used the Black Stars as his spring board to fame then turned around and gave them the middle finger. Most of the players are like the politicians; fleece Ghana dry. Akwesi, you can only force the horse to the river, but you can never force the rotten vermins to drink.

First of all, coach Appiah underestimated HIS infereriousity complex (His inability to deal with expatrite players, weather he admits it or not. Secondly, His local selection, would always duplicate this complexities too. Most of his selection(s), only familiar with Ghana's typical and lack of foreign types, were in awe of the oponents reputations. It would be adventageous to bring back the old system of seasonal overseas players, instead of his attitude that ALL PLAYERS are equal. The next thing to say, is Appiah is "unqualified "to Manage in the "World Cup" games. The other Managers are too experienced for his "local tactises.

My plea to the GFA is to stop the politics concerning who the Ghana Black Stars coach should be at this moment after AFCON. My suggestions are: 1) to go for MILO, 2) send Akwasi Appiah for a coaching course and 3) keep KONADU as the Assistant coach of MILO.
Akwasi Appiah had been given this opportunity for 11years; is time for him to move on, for Konadu to have this chance to enhance his success as a coach, with compliments to what he achieved with with Ashanti Kotoko.
Milo given the chance once more, would be a wise thing to do now; he knows the Ghanaian style of play, and with players now at hand, one would think with the little twist, our team can be well equipped to face any team for the WC.

If the material is not good at Club level how do we expect results. How many Ghanaian strikers and modfielders are making it big time in Europe.When last did our local clubs do well in the CAF competitions. If you have a strong league and good round players overseas the results will come. We behave like South Africa, teams not performing in Africa and no top players in Europe but still expect to perform. If your teams are performing you create a pool of players to give the outside ones competition. Take the Al Ahly, TP mazembe and Esperance example the only dofference is they don't have enough foreigh players to compelement them Zambia won 2012 with players mostly for SA league and TP Mazembe.

Asamoah Gyan must think of quiting China for a tough league just as Drogba and Anelka have done, or he must quit the Black Stars if he enjoys the jollity of being the lone, highest earner in a league that is not tougher than that of Lesotho's. He should remember that without him, the younger players beat Lesotho 7-0. With him, goal scoring has become a very rare product. A third option is for the Technical Team to send him on Compulsory Leave until he rediscover his fitness, speed and ability to score goals through tough and thick defence lines.
