The Supreme Court dismissed of the file by the three amigos asking the court to direct the Electoral Commission (EC) to provide them with the sheets is all well and good for respondent one and two and I believed more of such are to follow soon.

However, we shouldn’t allow complacency to overwhelm or distort our sense of vigil. Remember, we’re dealing with a group of yahoos who are well rooted in dubious means for a living from century biblical Adam and have multiple Ph.Ds from lying academy in “Kalabule” county to justify their crafted handiwork. So, keeping a weather eye always around them is a must and paramount, although we are safely entrenched behind undeniable facts before all, letting down our guide could be suicidal and costly for her majesty Mama Ghana.

When they present the 4000 or so Polling stations, noone can dispute the validity of their pink sheets, and any alteration by the EC and NDC to their copies of the pink sheets will become valueless.

The NPP says it has discovered irregularities in the elections. the basis was that they compared their results with that on the pink sheets and saw differences. So what do they want pink sheets from EC when they have used it to discover the anomalies. 12,000 pinks sheets will the SC 2 years to look at each one. Why if it take 2 minutes to examine one then it will take 24,000 minutes to examine 12,000 pink sheets. 24,000 minutes is 400 hours. if the SC works for 5 hours a day then it needs 80 sittings to examine all the pink sheets that the NPP is contesting.

As Gabby Otchere-Darko has pointed out, they know the lost the vote, but will use every manoeuvre in law to frustrate the new administration.
I`ll urge the govt to cut much of the photo ops with Chiefs and varios delegations,and get to work! The fct of the matter is that, it is the NDC that has been in power,and the transition should be as seamless as possible. Numerous problems need to be tackled right away, and I think this slow pace of addressing issues is not going to inure to the current administratiom.

I had stated this very fact by the Supreme Courts some days ago when Mr. Adofo wrote an article in support of the NPP application.
What will always baffle me about mother Ghana is a nation with an educated elite class who has little to no common sense and intellectual dishonesty that will exceed every imagined unit of measure.
Ghana's election procedures and best practices issued by the EC mandated party reps to be present at each polling/voting station not just to collect money but to be eyewitnesses and validate/monitor election results, counts and processes.
But with a bunch of unintelligent voters and their party leaders, the NPP would like for every Ghanaian to believe, they had reps at each polling/voting station but could not and did not stop all the evils of the EC and NDC neither did they report these evil activities as they were happening. Interestingly enough, NPP made their own numbers and announcement on each of the election nights at a time they claim the NDC and the EC were stealing votes and or engaged in over voting. How come the over votes did not affect the numbers NPP reported to their own people? Could it be the NPP were counting only NPP votes and ignored votes for other parties? If so how did NPP observers arrive at their victory numbers in the absence of the total votes cast at each polling/voting station? Common sense is lost and may never come to these educated fools Ghana continue to churn out year after year.

They were right. The problem is that if this happened in one or two places or even five places, the watchman could be excused. Maybe he was bribed, maybe he slept, maybe he went to toilet. Fine. but we are talking of over 4,000 polling stations for that matter 4,000 watchmen here. NPP needs to come up with a better explanation. The ground on which their solid evidence rest is gradually been eroded from beneath them by these preliminary but significant rulings at the court.

The request to see pink sheets from all 26000 constituencies was a cheeky gesture on the part of the petitioners and an attempt to call the Electoral Commission's bluff. It was a very long shot and they knew it. Fine, it's not worked. The EC will still have to answer to the individual pieces of evidence presented in court. If it claims that its set of figures is different from what NPP is claiming, the Court will have to decide which evidence is most conclusive and most convincing.

End of story.

I think it's simple: the EC says the same pink sheets they reported and signed by NPP reps in strong rooms, were the same ones that the NPP have. The NDC is the one asking for further and better docs; that is to say, if the NPP thinks what they have is not the correct ones they (the NPP) should produce the correct docs. Thus the burden of proof lies with the NPP and they should produce it. You can't accuse someone vaguely, produce the concrete evidence based on facts.

Do you guys understand this ruling at all? NPP asking for the pink sheets does not mean they do not have them. Again, the application was dismissed because "it was pre-mature". This means it was too early to ask for that information. It's not time yet and that they should wait for the appropriate time to ask for the pink sheets. So what is the problem with all of you spewing this ignorance. You must be wise to know that the EC will at all cost bring to court the pink sheets for comparison so that it will be authenticated if what NPP is saying is true. So as for the pink sheets or whatever sheets, they will still be brought to the court by the EC. Understand the clause of the Judge "It was premature" That was the reason why it was dismissed. I agree with the judges. But npp also filed to ask for it for fear that EC and NDC might tamper with it therfore, the earlier the better. But if the judges are saying so, it's fine. This has no bearing on the final outcome of the case. For the pink sheets, they (the EC) will still have to bring them anyway.

So NPP asking for the sheets now is premature as that is for when the case starts .And then the court is going to decide later why there r different digits on it . The EC producing the documents or pink sheets now will only mean that the case would be determined b4 the actual case begins. THE CASE HAS NOT STARTED YET . THE LAWYERS R TRYING TO BUILD THEIR CASES AND SO MAY OR MAY NOT ASK FOR REASONABLE OR UNREASONABLE REQUESTS BEFORE BUILDING THEIR CASES. THERE IS NO HARM IN ASKING. Lets not also forget that if they EC fail to produce the list on Tuesday next week , its an automatic second round and if they do present one , we will call and personally check the names and addresses of the people . Remember we r everywhere and we have the internet , whatsapp , skype and unlimited resources to track down each one of them . I will personally create jobs in ghana to help mahama boost his unempolyment figures by employing both ndc and npp youth in ghana and abroad into a digital call center to track down these so called 240,000 people abroad who voted .

Even the Chinese government and the Indian government do not employ 240,000 over 18 yr old abroad ,let alone their kids and other relations . That means there r almost a million people abroad being supported abroad by the government of Ghana. The US with its military might and 20 times the population of ghana had only about 500,000 votes from the estimated 6.23million americans abroad in 160 countries of which less than 20% were directly or indirectly posted abroad for government purposes .

Afari Gyan has 5 more days to come up with this list and promise me WOMAN to try and track all these humans or androids down .

Just as the SC denied the NCD/EC request to have the NPP's evidence ahead of time, it does make sense that they denied the NPP a similar request. Now as shallow minded as some of you are, you think this premature requests and denial of evidence/facts suggests failure on NPP part; I suggest you wait and listen to the actual case! You can all jubilate if after the substantive case, the NPP has no evidence to show.

What the Supreme Court has done here is that When NPP gives out the names and reference numbers of polling stations,The EC could alter the pink sheets in their possesion or come out with a new pink sheet to say what NPP has is not the correct information.I believe the Supreme Court by this ruling appears to impede the way to justice as this ruling may aid the EC and the NDC to destroy evidence or alter evidence on the original pink sheets or possibly create another one to muddy the waters.

They are only employing these tactics so that in case they lose the case, they can turn around and say they lost because of this and that. Truth of the matter is what judge will rule in their favour regardless of what evidence is produced? Worst case scenario will be that the Supreme Court will order for electoral reforms so these issues dont pop up again in future elections. There is no way any judge is going to ask Mahama to step down for Akuffo Addo to be president. Not in a million years.

The officers of AMA are tight lipped over issues which seem to be a pain in their necks, but are afraid to voice it out. I am a concerned citizen of this country, and the information reaching me indicated that the mayor is very very rude and naughty to his staff, and he continues to rain insults on them at them whenever he has management meetings with them. This has become so bad that those who are not able to tolerate him have either stopped the job or tendered in the resignations. Examples of such officers who have stopped this job are one Mr. Aidoo and some other sub metro directors.

Many of his staff receive insults every now and then, but are afraid to speak because of the mayor's threat and intimidation, either to sack or transfer you.

His personal assistant is the worst of all. The staffs of AMA are indeed going through a hell of time. Many more are likely to resign is the mayor is retained. Please just go round and interview so of them to establish the truthfulness of what i have put out here.

today thursday @ the supreme court; the NPP application for discovery (inspection and copying of the originals of 26,000 pink sheets with the ec) was refused. the reason given was that the petitioners already has the copies of the originals in their possession and the court will treat their copies as accepted documents during the trial. it will therefore be extra cost and waste of time to allow them receive what they have already. on the matter of application by the NPP for amendment to increase the pink sheets evidence from 4916 to 11,916 the court unanimously granted it. on the tsatsu application for further and better particulars, there was no show up from tsatsu (counsel for ndc). samuel cudjoe (ndc counsel) stood in his stead. the court after hearing him ruled unanimously to dismiss the application. on the application by John Mahama filed by his counsel Tony Lithur on the Petitioners for interrogatories, Counsel pleaded with the court to withdraw the application when the matter was called to be head. court permitted him to withdraw his application. the following orders were made; the petitioners have 2 days to file their amended petition in court. the petitioners have 7 days to serve respondents with the further and better particulars of the 11,916 pink sheets. the respondents have 14 days after they have been served to file their answer to the amended petition. this means that court shall reconvene in about 21 days to take stock and to set date for the hearing of the main case. the battle is the lord's.

The petitioners are only entitled to be shown for purposes of collaborating or contradicting their evidence, only the 4,700 or 11,000 polling station pink sheets. And even that would be after they have provided the list of the polling stations in dispute.

They cannot use the court process to avail themselves of all the materials and especially those materials which they themselves have copies.

Their request was mischievious.

They have taken as for granted and think we all have "chicken" brains to keep throwing our wait behind this fiasco case.These guys cannot keep deceiving us that they have incontrovertible evidence and turn around to demand the same documents they claimed was used to derive their supposed evidence from the EC.It has become clear that they concocted the whole case and can no longer lie to us. I never expected the NPP i genuinely supported to request these same documents from the EC.I have grown and will not be a child anymore for these guys to manipulate around. Those who are wise should advise themselves accordingly before it becomes too late for them. The hole thing is a hoax. A word to the wise is enough!

Sometime I wonder if these guys have any intellectualized mind to run into the Supreme Court for defying the validity of the result. The initialized ruling alone sends a strong signal to the NPP riffraff that the court will not countenance any madness from the Akan block chauvinism. The word Akan block have been used here reservedly and do not denote tribe but rather those who use the word to enflame goofs to go rampage.
