When they won the elections, Afari Gyan was a darling; when they lost it, all of a sudden he has become the devil.
The mosquito says the NPP evidence is not consistent and not presented in one comprehensive case, Today one application, tomorrow another application. This was after they had gone on a merry dance telling everyone they had completed a forensic audit. They are using the legal process to fish for evidence. Beyond it all, Akuffo Addo wants to hang onto the leadership of the NPP. That is the plan.

Ghanaians are not hearing anything from the NPP; they've been cool and focused on the case that's before the Supreme Court. But NDC are always in the news making all sorts of statements. Meanwhile, they [NDC] says that the NPP don't have any evidence to show. Now they're fighting in court asking the SC to ask for the evidence that the NPP has. Wow, I can't believe this! They think Ghanaians are fools.

The NPP is asking for the number of absentee voters; those in foreign missions among others as well as the pink sheets in all 26,000plus electoral or polling stations, and this demand has NDC reeling.

Q: Why the NPP is in court?
A: According to Article 64 (1) of the 1992 Constitution:
“The validity of the election of the President may be challenged only by a citizen of Ghana who may present a petition for the purpose to the Supreme Court within twenty-one days after the declaration of the result of the election in respect of which the petition is presented”.
We have chosen to challenge the 2012 election in the Supreme Court of Ghana, because of numerous irregularities – the sum total of which, once amended, will invalidate the declared results and make Nana Akufo-Addo the legitimate winner.

Q: What are the votes at stake?
A: Over 1,340,000 votes from 4,709 polling stations out of the over 24,000 polling stations sampled by the NPP are invalid due to the irregularities and breach of electoral laws; hence all 8 presidential candidates for the 2012 election will have their votes at these polling stations deducted from the declared obtained results.

Q: What is the impact?
A: John Mahama had over 916,000 invalid votes included in his total. He therefore receives 48.26% of the valid votes instead of the 50.70% declared by the Electoral Commission on December 9.
Similarly, Nana Akufo-Addo receives 50.28% of the valid votes, as opposed to 47.74%, making him the outright winner once our evidence is taken into account.

Q: What reliefs does the NPP Seek?
A: The NPP prays that the Supreme Court declares:
(1) That John Dramani Mahama, the 1st Respondent in the petition was wrongfully declared as president elect of the Republic of Ghana.

The judges will have a tough time going through each of the 4,700 pink sheets. Now it could be 12,000 pink sheets the ammendment is accepted by the court. If 2 minutes will be used per sheet then the court needs 24,000 minutes to look at 12,000 sheets which is 4,000 hours or 800 days to complete looking at the 12,000 sheets if courts spends 5 hours per sitting.800 days is about 2 years!!!.
