Nkrumah made the mistake of commuting the death sentences of bomb-throwers, thus unwittingly encouraging more bombing and nefarious activities. Ghanaians do not want (or need) a repetition of that mistake. President Mahama must stick to the law and allow justice to prevail. Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has hit hard at the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, describing him as “evil.” Kennedy Agyapong added if all the parties agreed that because of the mistake of the EC, voting be postponed for another day, why won’t the EC in the same manner listen to the concerns of the NPP hold on with the declaration.
“Afari Gyan is evil” he blasted.

The Assin-Central MP told Okay FM that Dr. Afari Gyan “is stupid and not indispensable in this country”. INTERPRETATION: Eliminate the EC Chairman.

He added that “… Afari Gyan will have nowhere to reside”. INTERPRETATION: There is no hiding place for the EC Chairman if and when the NPP choose to strike.

“If there should be chaos in this country, it is Afari Gyan.” he stated. INTERPRETATION: Create chaos in Ghana (by throwing bombs) and lay the blame on Afari Gyan.

Note that Kennedy Agyapong used the word indispensable twice in refering to the EC Chairman. If the Ghana police are not taking down notes, sure the ICC in The Hague are.

The NDC should not attempt to find any pretext against the NPP for chaos in Ghana. That will not be tolerated. Nobody should find a way to derail the peaceful court process which the NPP has resorted to challenge the results of election 2012. This attempt to accuse the NPP of planting bombs in strategic installations could only be a ploy to prepare the country for a state of emergency to be declared that would give President Mahama ample latitude of power to subjugate the opposition. This will not be allowed to happen. Those who are thinking like this should be careful because that will never go well with a lot of Ghanaians. Remember the President Mahama and his challenger Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo polled 5million plus votes apiece. The country is politically polarised and nobody should do anything to disturb the piece. As I have already alluded, we have seen such ploys before. The NDC is now linking the NPP to a supposed implanting of a bomb which the military, according to whose source(s, had diffused. A word to the wise is in the "north". The NDC should not drag the NPP into uneccessary tension in Ghana.

We know the "Mate-mehu" party who stood for violence. We know then when they went all out against the construction of Tema Harbor; and the construction of the Akosombo Dam. We know them who named the Job 600 (State House) "white elephant". We know them by their characters.

We will believe it, even if someone else does harm to Ghana and their name is mentioned. We will believe anything said about them plotting against Ghana because that is their talk and that is who they want and can do after losing the elections.

We know what the "Sasabonsam" party is capable of doing; they killed Pastors and Chiefs and made the whole thing look like a road accident; they dumped some in the yawning sea.

Sensing defeat that the Supreme Court, they've now plotted another wicked scheme with the NPP's name attached to it. The very people who know "so many ways to kill a cat" is finding ways to incriminate the NPP.

I blame the NPP for not listening to advice during the 2008 elections, that you cannot run a gentle campaign in an election that involves the NDC. In the previous elections, the NDC, led by Rawlings went about the villages and small towns accusing Kuffour and his ministers of corruption; they promised to jail all of them, and won't let anyone run away, amidst cheers from some of the villagers.

I repeated the same advice, but it was ignored. Under the NDC's rule, Ghana has recorded crimes and corruption against the state, in levels that has never been seen in Ghana's history. Prior to the elections, NDC's Yaw Boaten-Gyan was caught on tape recruiting footsoldiers into the National Security, to cause chaos or disrupt the elections.

Having been exposed they went ahead in their next plan and colluded with the EC to rig the elections by falsifying ballot count and massaging figures; they hired and Israeli IT company and used them as a conduit by which they manipulated the election result. Little did they know that the NPP was alert.

The NDC have been rigging elections since 1992. That was when late Prof. Adu-Boahen contested on NPP's ticket. Knowing what they want to do to Ghanaians, John Mahama has promised the Ghana Armed Forces of new equipment to boost moral in their ranks. They want to frighten and bully Ghanaians; Mahama is using "buga-buga" tactics to lord himself over Ghanaians, knowing deeplhy in his heart that his NDC party and the EC appointed him by stealing the elections.

Mahama should come out publicly to tell Ghanaians how he feels inside; it's like muching on peanuts mixed with a few nuts. It doesn't taste good at all, yet he put up some wierd smiles. Like "Oh, I'm okay." No you're not!

NDC's plot to cause problems in the country won't work. What I'll advice the NPP leaders is to mind their speech; any little thing would be taken out of contest by the thugs and thieves that we have at the seat of govt.
