What is bad is that the President has been insensitive in appointing Oye Lithur as the head of it; she is not the right person because of her stance on homosexuality. She has vowed to defend it. But it's abominable in our society. It's immoral; it has disastrous knock-on effect on life; it will breed bisexuality in a heterosexual society such as Ghana's; in societies where homosexuality is openly practised, HIV is prevalent; it's practice is a drain on a country's resources, etc. Other people in our society can do the job as well.
