Atta-Mills was even compared to Jesus, the Prince of Peace (akan: 'Asomdwe Hene'), because of his 'humility' and 'peaceful' nature. Ghanaians witnessed his 'ascension' to heaven, where he is now believed to be seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for NDC members. How arrogant, blasphemous, deceptive and manipulative can a political party be? Now according to the NDC, John Mahama is even more 'humble, peaceful, and pious' than his mentor, Atta-Mills.

When whole cites goes up in flames, a lesson will be drawn from it.
Even a fool can tell without difficulty that the amount being given out to MPs today as rent allowance can solve this same accommodation problem for many years ahead. All they need is the money and so they deliberately pass legislation that will allow them to receive that money - a behavior which they are very much well aware that it is not the solution to the problem.
By this same behavior they have crippled every state institution: Deliberate wrong decision to suit their personal interests, irrespective of the consequences.
Somebody should start organizing mass demonstration.

I suggest that the government should go and look for a large tract of land on which it can build a gated community of three hundred three-bedroom furnished houses for the parliamentarians; one each for each constituency. Then their rent allowances can be used to defray the cost of these houses. The furnishing should all be the same.Any MP who dislikes it can choose to stay in house without the government reimbursing him or her. This is because they decided to stand for the elections and once elected they must be ready to serve. The same goes for the vehicles.A standard vehicle should be purchased for these MPs for them to use. After their tenure they can be given the option to buy vehicles at reduced prices and the money deducted from their ex-Gratia.This will prevent people who have seen that becoming an MP is a way to riches from standing for elections. The cars should have the name of the constituency neatly embossed on it so that the electorates will be able to identify them when they visit their constituencies.Likewise their houses. And it will also check the lifestyles of these "HONORABLES"By the way, Can the "boycotters" come out boldly to say that the are going to boycott the receiving of the money too? Please, we should stand up because these "honorables" are "dishonorable" to we the taxpayers.
