What are your suspicions?
Examine the NPP's own "error-fraught" petition and you will realise that at the time of submission, they had examined 24,000 out of 26,000 polling stations (92%) and found problems with 4,709 polling stations. Then they go back to the SC to talk of some amendment, and tell us that some further examinations (which they put at 90%) reveal problems with over 11,000 polling station results.
If you kne a bit of maths, you should be asking yourself how these guys, left with only 2,000 polling stations to examine, can come up with over 7,000 polling station problems.
WHat I have tried to explain to you is that, anybody who plays around with numbers this way, has no knowledge of what he is up to. The petitioners, in simple words, are not serious. On a more serious note, their attitude, since the end of the elections, should tell you that they have nothing to prove in court.

The fact is the EC is not a serious organization. After every election, they should audit their work so that they could improve and avoid mistakes. But all they do is sit in their offices till another election comes up.

I beleive there was a dead line of 21days to petition, there won,t be enough time to get all the facts needed. Amending your own petition is normal since they initialy said some numbers of the constituecies were petitioned.

I find it waste of time to continue making my views on this useless petition filed by the NPP, and this might be my final discussion on this matter.I must as well take a rest afetr a hard fought election battle from the quiet background.
In my view, the process of voting and the subsequent declaration of result is not a complicated one. Any average person can WALK US THROUGH THE PROCESS as Professional Auditors seek to do.The NPP is telling the whole of Ghana that the process of elections is understood by people from their fold alone.
These people want to destroy the hard fought democracy we have worked hard collectively to achieve because they believe they must win elections at all times.
For me, I dont blame them because they believe they can do things they are not able to do through the people, through the courts because they have achieved other things in the past through the same means.
Whilst their competitors are asleep they are awake and parading the corridors of people who they believe can facilitate the realisation of their objectives.
I read with dismay the insistence of the legal team of the petitioners that the EC should provide the court with some details to enable them prosecute their case. This was after the EC has requested ealier for specifics as against the several general allegations made in their Petition. On what basis did the NPP go to court in the first place if they will not provide the specifics in this matter which is being used to waste the country's time. Are they in court to gamble? To use the court to collect details from the EC to fight the EC and the president.
I find this very ridiculous and these people are being entertained by our Justices in the Supreme Court. We in Ghana misuse the most important resource given to man by God, TIME. God was very fair that He did not discriminate in giving this resource to man, whether black or white, poor or rich etc.We in Ghana decide to misuse it, no wonder we are poor in the midst of abundance. I am sad I belong to this class of people.
My last and probably final advice to the Justices of the Supreme Court is that they should not be intimidated by the useless and senseless threats from the surrogate organisations of the NPP and some individuals from their fold. This system of governance we have adopted for our selves should be protected because we agree is better than the dictatorship under which we once lived. They are the vanguard of democracy, we are told.
They must be transparent, sincere and honest. They are making history for good or for bad.
I wish them God's guidance, wisdom and fortitude.
I am committed to their defence even at the peril of my life.I am ready to sacrifice my work in the bank to fight their cause if need be. Banking is not my gifted profession but for the course at the School of Administration.I see myself a gifted TACTICIAN which can well fit into HIGHLY SCIENTIFIC SECURITY OPERATIVE.
