The Northern Region is presently the largest in the country and its size hampers development due to the vastness of the area. For example the distance between Bole (a district capital) and Tamale (the regional capital) is 140 miles. Therefore, common sense requires that the region needs to be divided for administrative and developmental purposes just as other regions''.Regions are not created for a Trib but tribs ready and wiilling to live together , all the other tribes say they will either be in the Northern region or the upper West.Lets do our home work well and a plan for this promised region after all how big is California but thers are red indians there.

Mole game park alone can transform the whole of northern region if managed well. Let us look at how South Africa is managing its parks etc.

There is no calfornia in Ghana,please give examples that are relatable to Ghanaians,everything the writers say about northern region is true,i am a Dagbana and i know some of my tribe mates dont want the region to be devided which i never really understood their reasons,northern region touches the east and the west boundaries of Ghana,if devided into two we are going to have both dagbamba and gonjas in the west and the east,that seem to be the biggest problem for many people on this issue,for me it is not,there are fantes in western region and in central region,tuobodom is in the Brong Ahafo region but i was told they consider themselves as ashantis.Upper region was devided so why cant northern region.We should have asked for this when Rawlings could do things on his own without asking the stupid parliament to delibrate on it,we have seen Wa and the whole region developed,please lets push for this even if people would consider that as an agenda for "Gonja Mafia"

Even though a bad practice, sometimes I can understand Kufour and his asante folk. You do it,they'll insult you, you don't do it, you'll still be insulted,so why not just go ahead and do it? Even under the late professor who was asomdwehene, didn't we see as many fantes in his Government as possible? Let's be objective a bit. May be Jm put many northerners in his Government not Gonjas.Kufour put not only 99% of southerners but out of this 99%, at least 70% were asantes.

Whatever people think, I've already indicated my readiness to join the invisible Gonja Mafia on the basis of my filial relationship with the Gonjas, as I don't like the membership of the Anlo Mafia alleged to be working with them. In fact, we even want to imprison two of the named members for contempt of court! That way, we can eliminate the rival Anlo Mafia, Mafia style, and rule supreme, no challengers! Phew!
