Sipa Yankey is a glorified crook fleeing his own criminal shadow, and thinking others are after him.

It is the shameful legacy of "Asomdweehene" Atta-Mills that he enabled so many other crooks by giving them appointments in his cabinet. It was almost as if the best qualification for a post was a criminal conviction. Yankee was tried and jailed during the Kufuor era. Mills embraced him and offered him a ministerial post. The legal authorities in UK, while investigating Marbey & Johnson, discovered the EVIDENCE of bribes paid to Yankee by M & J (and also Baba Camara, Lord Ativor and NPP's ex-minister Alhaji Boniface). Mills rewarded all the NDC crooks with important posts. Truth is beaufiful and proper at all times and must be spoken no matter what. The sad legacy of Mills was his embrace and protection of crooks - tradition continued by Mahama with the appointment recently given to Barton Oduro and the legal shenanigans being played over the Woyome case. Postponement today, postponement tomorrow. It's clear Woyome will be cleared of all charges - just as he himself has arrogantly declared.

Both NDC and NPP protect the crooks in their midst.

One is at a loss as to what amount of money this man wants in this world. He, together with his wife, whom he snatched from her husband are virtually controlling Ghana's oil and gas business He travels round the world by airplane, train, vehicle, yatch etc to prevent people from trailing him , all in a bid to look for money and business for Ghana's Oil.
He is the mafia of our oil production and the worry to the Gas company..

This will simply amount to recentralisation of the huge and complex oil sector.I think the GNPC must allow the much tauted policy of decentralisation to work to frution. Some of us who have worked in the oil sector before are of the view that a decentralised oil sector will work better for the benefit of all Ghanians. All that Ghana needs to do is to put efficient self-policing system/s in place to ensure that only a minority group does not hijack its proceeds but the state. We must therefore give Dr. Yankey the free hand to operate.

If Sipa Yankey feels that his reputation is being traduced by this so called campaign against him, why does he not sue for libel and claim damages instead of getting his allies to launch this attempt to clear his name by attacking those people who are raising what appears to be perfectly reasonable questions about his present activities.
If he believes they are deliberately telling lies about him then sue for libel.
The point is, given his past history he has no reputation to defend by sueing for libel.

Also, why did they disregard the bid process for the procurement of pipes for the shallow water component of the offshore pipeline and selected their own supplier who provided non conforming non coated pipes which would require further expenses for coating? please tell us why Sipa?

This man is working so hard to make Ghana Gas a World class company and all u can do is to tarnish his image for genuine service to Ghana. Those of you who dont know him or know Ghana Gas company, take the pain to locate them and find out for yourself what is going on there before you make any conclusions based on hearsay. In fact he is one of the few men of integrity in Ghana.He is very humble, approacheable and extremely hardworking.
