I sense undercurrents of patriotic fervour and zeal running through like a golden thread. Your connecting clarion call to sanity is oft echoed in your refrain and reminder of forgeting who we are and descending into the abysmal pit of recrudescence, anarchy, treason and short and brutlsh war of attrition and self destructiion. We need quality leadership and not irredentist and myopic tribal bigots and misanthropists. Well done for this mixed grill of verse, free verse, rhyme, contrast. repitition

How refined can we be if not allowed to be consumed by our own lower nature fires, which inexorably and inevitably will get at us?
